Red Robin takes on the “swicy” trend with their new spicy new menu.
The fall season may be filled with all kinds of fall-flavored menu items, but nothing beats a classic food trend that can be enjoyed all year round. The “swicy” trend has long taken over fast food chains’ kitchens and creative labs, bringing the heat no matter the season and no matter which food item it will be. This combination of sweet and spicy has taken over burgers, chicken sandwiches, chicken wings, and nuggets at well-known fast food giants, and just in time for fall, another restaurant has fallen to its hot chambers. Red Robin is the latest food spot to join the “swicy” trend, and they’re taking the heat to another level, thanks to a new gourmet burger with extra waves of spice, new wing sauces, hand-crafted premium mocktails, and of course, shareable desserts.
Red Robin has introduced an exciting selection of new menu items perfect for the cold air of the fall season. This new lineup brings a twist to the latest “swicy” food trend and offers a range of dishes designed to give you that much-needed heat and flavor kick. From The Club
To be fair, I’ve never really finished a spicy burger by myself. I’ve always shared it with my sister or my best friend and that’s always worked out for me, being a non-spicy lover. Well, I’ve tried spicy chicken wings before, maybe that’s why I think I’m more inclined to taste Red Robin‘s Scorpion Wings, but still, I’m going to share it with a friend. I trust fast food chains’ descriptions of their menu, especially if they’re describing how spicy their new item is. And luckily, Red Robin’s got a complimentary Scorpion Antidote to save me whenever I choose to tap out, and believe me, I will.
