A Walk Through Golden Corral’s Vision
Golden Corral’s beginnings can be traced back to 1973 to entrepreneur and founders James Maynard and William F. Carl from Raleigh, North Carolina. After numerous failed business of franchising, they decided to build their own brand called Golden Corral Corporation with the mission to provide an affordable and memorable experience for families. It seems as if they fulfilled the dream because, fast-forwarding to today, they have grown into one of the country’s largest buffet-grill restaurants.
Their vision of creating a family-friendly place came to life as many families celebrated their milestones, like birthdays and anniversaries, at Golden Corral. They understood that warm welcomes must accompany great experience and quality food. Throughout the years, Golden Corral maintained their mission by evolving their menu to cater to a wide range of tastebuds.
Golden Corral also has a community-focused approach, which sets it apart from other restaurants. They have long been supporting the U.S. Military and veterans, notably as the founding sponsor of Camp Corral. This nonprofit organization offers free summer camp experiences for children of fallen, wounded, or ill military service members.

From Feast to Feast: Golden Corral Buffet’s Concept
We get it; some people may raise their eyebrows at the concept of all-you-can-eat restaurants, questioning its quality and taste. Since they are serving a huge room full of hungry diners, buffet restaurants tend to cook food in a quick-paced manner. Not to mention, the food wasted during closing hours.
Golden Corral has stood the test of time in American all-you-can-eat restaurants. Their endless buffet features a variety of quality, made-from-scratch food that is perfect for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The quality of their food is what sets them apart from buffet restaurants.

They also offer 150 food items, including USDA grilled-to-order steaks, sirloin, pork, and fresh-catch seafood of shrimp. From The Club
To be honest, I’m not a fan of buffet-style restaurants due to my past encounters with some that serve poorly-tasting and bad-quality food. I even remembered one buffet restaurant which serves sugar-infused desserts, soggy chicken tenders, and bad coleslaw! It’s actually the same reason why I haven’t eaten in a buffet-style restaurant for so long. But with Golden Corral’s promise of quality food it makes me want to try and dine in there. Besides, who could pass on an all-you-can-eat selection of Baby Back Ribs and Wings?
