So to help celebrate the Jewish High Holidays, TooJay’s has a special set of menu items that are perfect for the occasion. They’re featuring traditional favorites that you can enjoy and are available for in-restaurant dining, takeout, or catering at all 20 of their Florida locations. Let’s take a look at each of them.
Rosh Hashanah

Rosh Hashanah is essentially the beginning of the Jewish New Year. It represents the day when God created humanity. In Hebrew, this phrase translate to “the head of the year.” Since this is such a special day, it deserves to be celebrated with special food! This is where Toojay’s comes in.
For only $29.99 per person, customers can select from a main entrée of brisket, herb roasted half chicken, baked salmon, or stuffed chicken breast. Each of these entrées come with the signature sides from TooJay’s like the matzo ball soup, gefilte fish or chopped liver, mini potato pancakes, carrot tzimmes, and a choice of coffee, tea, or a glass of kosher wine. Of course, desserts are also going to be included. You have options that include fresh fruit salad, honey cake, almond cake, sponge cake, apple upside-down cake, macaroons, or mini black and white cookies.
This is a great set of food perfect for Rosh Hashanah. You can make reservations for dine-in seating at TooJay’s for 5 p.m. or 7 p.m. on either Wednesday, October 2, or Thursday, October 3. You can also have it for catering, pickup, or delivery, but the orders must be placed by Monday, September 30, 2024.
Yom Kippur

10 days after Rosh Hashanah, the next Jewish religious holiday is Yom Kippur. It’s considered as the holiest and most solemn out of the high holidays. It when Jews seek to atone for their sins and reconcile with God. It concludes the period called “10 days of repentance” that began on Rosh Hashanah. It’s also commonly celebrated with good food. In observance of this holiday, TooJay’s also has a special menu planned out.
For Yom Kippur, TooJay’s offers a package that includes bagels, cream cheese, and all accompaniments, with a choice of a variety of sliced nova, smoked whitefish, baked salmon, or whitefish salad, for only $24.99 per person.
In addition to the holiday menus, TooJay’s also has a pretty diverse election of à la carte side dishes and baked goods to enhance any holiday meal. There are offerings that include herb roasted chicken, brisket, matzo ball soup and gefilte fish. They also got some pretty delicious baked treats like apple upside-down cake, almond cake, honey cake, sponge cake, and round or raisin challah.

Pastrami Burger

As of today, TooJay’s has only two official burgers on their menu. But that doesn’t mean that they don’t have other burgers available. The thing is that you can actually customize your own burger at TooJay’s where you can pick out whatever you want to add into it. But if you just want to save yourself the trouble of customizing a burger, just go with the new Pastrami Burger instead. This new sandwich contains juicy sirloin rolled in their signature pastrami rub and topped with tender pastrami, caramelized onion, plus Swiss and chipotle mayo.
Deli Tower

Feel like building your own sandwich and sharing it with friends or family? Try this new menu item from TooJay’s. The Deli Tower is literally a tower with segments that include ingredients you’ll need for a sandwich. It has 3 Deli meats and 2 cheese of your choice plus lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and fresh baked bread that are all stacked vertically.
The 6-lb Mighty Jay

We’ve all heard of footlong subs, which are essentially 12-inch sandwiches. But have you ever heard of a whopping 6-lb sandwich? The 6-lb Mighty Jay is a new addition to TooJay’s Menu that’s enough to actually feed 8-12 people. Or you can eat it on your own if you’re really that hungry. This piled high, 6 pound sandwich contains layers of turkey, roast beef, corned beef, Swiss, coleslaw, lettuce, and tomatoes. Definitely one of the biggest things on their menu and a must try for anyone going to TooJay’s.
