Olive Garden

The holidays may be meant for sweets, treats, and feasts, but for Olive Garden it’s bringing back menu items from the past. 2024 marks the year of huge fast food comebacks, just like Taco Bell reviving five menu items from the past called Decades. Get this: they are bringing back menu items from the summer of ‘69! Olive Garden is following this trend by bringing back two of their favorite pasta dishes: Steak Gorgonzola Alfredo and Stuffed Chicken Marsala.

Olive Garden revealed this after they posted videos on social media about the availability of these fan-favorite pasta dishes. It shows a retro television that is similar to VHS tapes. They were actually pulled out by Olive Garden during the COVID-19 pandemic, and it hasn’t seen the light of day since then. After numerous petitions to bring back the plates of pasta, Olive Garden thankfully responded by bringing them back. Fans can now get these pastas at Olive Green locations nationwide.

But wait, why are these pasta dishes well-loved? The Steak Gorgonzola Alfredo features a grilled sirloin steak on top of the creamy fettuccine alfredo that is blended with blue cheese and spinach. The pasta is topped with sun-dried tomatoes and a drizzle of balsamic.

On the other hand, the Stuffed Chicken Marsala features a grilled chicken breast stuffed with sun-dried tomatoes and Italian cheese. It is topped with a creamy marsala sauce It is served together with mashed potatoes. Both dishes come with Olive Garden’s popular Never Ending bread, which has been a staple of their restaurant.

From The Club

These releases have got me excited! First off, I’ve got to say that this week’s Crumbl lineup is one of the best I’ve ever seen. I’m excited to try the Brookie Pie, Peanut Butter Cup, and Cowboy Cookie. These were actually the flavors that stole my heart! As for Olive Garden, it’s my first time hearing of the Steak Gorgonzola Alfredo and Stuffed Chicken Marsala, but I’ll probably love it since their base is a white sauce pasta. So far, all of the holiday releases sound good.
