Forget milkshakes; Freddy’s Dr Pepper Frost is the coolest treat in town.
Are you a fan of Dr Pepper and frozen treats? Well, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is giving you the ultimate summer mashup. No more choosing between a soda and a creamy dessert, because the brand just dropped Dr Pepper Frost, turning your favorite soda into a dreamy dessert!

Just in time for summer, Freddy’s is dropping a new, limited-time treat called Dr Pepper Frost, beginning July 9, 2025. The new frost is made with vanilla frozen custard, blended with Dr Pepper and its 23 unique flavors and then finished with whipped cream. The fast food joint has dubbed this new offer the “ideal treat for summer.” Soda fans will have to act fast though, because the Dr Pepper Frost will be around through August 26 only.
According to the Director of Menu Strategy & Innovation at Freddy’s, Rick Petralia, Freddy’s Frosts are lighter and refreshing, and always made with freshly churned vanilla frozen custard. They’re excited to combine their signature custard with the one-of-a-kind taste of Dr Pepper for an equally memorable summer.
