More new flavors are arriving this summer!
We’re welcoming another season, which means we’re again getting new treats! First, we’ve got our summer specials from Starbucks just in time for summer’s berry season. There’s also an exciting summer giveaway to check out at Chipotle and a creamy refreshment from Zaxby’s. If you’re up for any of these sips and treats, read along as we’re bringing you summer’s best flavors (and sweepstakes)!
Chipotle
Calling all Chipotle fans, your favorite fast food stop just introduced their Summer of Extras, which is a three-month program that will give away more than $1 million in free burritos to Chipotle’s Rewards members in the U.S. It will run from June 1 to August 31. To join, members can head over to chipotle.com/summer-of-extras.

First up, members can earn points plus exclusive badges if they complete four milestones per month. They will gain one sweepstakes entry for a chance to win free burritos for a year and a limited edition stainless steel gift card. At the end of the summer, one winner will be selected per state in the 48 states where Chipotle operates, including Washington D.C., for a total of 49 winners.
Here are the following milestones you can win:
- Milestone One – Purchase one entrée for 50 bonus points, five sweepstakes entries, and an Extras badge.
- Milestone Two – Purchase of two entrées for 100 bonus points, 10 sweepstakes entries, and an Extras badge.
- Milestone Three – Purchase of two or more entrées for 200 bonus points and 15 sweepstakes entries. There’s also an Extra badge included.
- Milestone Four – Purchase of two or more entrées for 300 bonus points and 30 sweepstakes passes, plus an Extra badge.
Once rewards members opt for the program in their account, they will receive a seven-visit streak challenge. Milestones are reset at the start of each month to give members a chance to earn points and benefits for free food. Also, participants are only limited to two entrée purchases per day.
To add to the excitement, Chipotle will manage a dashboard that will allow tracking the members’ performance against other users in their state. There are also fun user features, such as the Team Guac or Queso, and the count of users’ visits in every restaurant location.
To celebrate the launch of the Summer of Extras program, Chipotle will select 10,000 members at random to get a free burrito every week of the summer. From June 1 to August 31, members who opted for the program can join in the weekly drawings through an in-restaurant or digital app entrée purchase. They can also submit an online entry for the weekly drawings during the applicable entry period. Weekly entry periods start each Sunday at 12:00 a.m. PT and will end on Saturday at 11:59 p.m. PT, except on the final weekly period that will begin on Sunday (August 24) at 12:00 a.m. PT and end on Sunday (August 31) at 11:59 p.m. PT.
If you’re a new rewards member, then you’ll receive a free guac during your first order!

Starbucks
Summer is here at Starbucks, and so is the summer menu that will accompany us throughout the season! This Tuesday (May 20, 2025), Starbucks will introduce its new limited-time beverages. Check out what they have in store for the season, while supplies last.

- Iced Horchata Oatmilk Shaken Espresso – Inspired by Latin America’s horchata, this drink features Starbucks Blonde Espresso, which is a light and subtly smooth drink that pairs well with the horchata syrup. The syrup combines warm cinnamon, sweet vanilla, and nutty notes like rice milk, which is reminiscent of traditional Mexican-style horchata. It’s also shaken in ice and topped with oatmilk.
- Summer-Berry Refreshers – A comeback drink from last year, which features a blend of raspberry, blueberry, and blackberry that is shaken and poured over Raspberry Flavored Pearls. They’re also available in Summer-Berry Lemonade Refresher or add coconut milk to make it a Summer Skies Drink.
The Strawberries and Cream Cake Pop also joins the menu, which features strawberry cream cake mixed with buttercream, dipped in chocolate icing, and finished with a strawberry design. Customers can also sip in style with Starbucks’ new drinkware collection, which is a limited-edition collaboration with FARM Rio.
Summer also started early at some Starbucks Reserves, which are already serving their summer specials, like the debut of Ube Espresso M*rt*ni, Masala Chai Latte, and Crispy Hashbrown Egg Cup earlier this month.
Vicky’s Bakery

Miami’s favorite Cuban bakery, Vicky’s Bakery, is serving up another pastelito this summer. Say hello to the Apple Pastelito, which will be available from May 19 until July 31. It features the American classic with its flaky and buttery texture of Vicky’s Bakery’s signature Cuban puff pastry. It has a filling of chopped apples that are mixed with cinnamon and pie spice, all wrapped in golden layers of pastry and a drizzle of royal icing. You can enjoy these treats at all locations across South Florida.
Zaxby’s
Zaxby’s is celebrating their 35th anniversary by rereleasing their fan-favorite Handcrafted Milkshakes, but this time, permanently! You can get them starting May 19 at Zaxby’s locations across the U.S., where prices may vary.

This classic Handcrafted Milkshake will take you on a trip down memory lane with their classic flavors of Vanilla, Strawberry, and Chocolate. Each shake is handspun and topped with whipped cream, colorful sprinkles; all finished up with a Maraschino cherry. There’s also the Birthday Cake flavor, which features the iconic flavors of a baked cake, buttercream, and French vanilla, and is called a “cake in a cup.”
Each shake starts with a suggested price of $4.99 for a 20-ounce shake. Feeling excited yet? They’re expected to be available at all Zaxby’s restaurants by June 2025.

From The Club
Whew! These treats are pure delight and my favorite out of all of the latest summer roundups. Specifically, I’m excited about Chipotle’s summer giveaway because imagine winning a free burrito for a year? I also want to have a taste of Vicky’s Bakery’s Apple Pastelito as it reminds me of the classic Apple Strudel or McDonald’s Apple Pie.
