New drinks inspired by Skittles are popping up in stores, and it’s quite interesting to see these colorful bottles lining the shelves. These beverages bring a playful twist that could be really enjoyable if the flavors are spot on. There might be some doubt about how they’ll taste. Will they remind us of simpler sweet treats, like flavored waters or fruit drinks such as Hi-C or Kool Aid, or are we looking at something fizzy like soda, or maybe a mix of these options?
At launch, the lineup includes Original, Wild Berry, Tropical, and Sour flavors, all borrowing from the classic candy’s taste profile. It’s curious to think if they might introduce even more specific flavors later on. Out of the initial options, Wild Berry definitely seems the most exciting. It has potential to be a favorite if they capture the taste of berry mix we know from the candy.
