You read that right! SONIC is spoiling us with even more drinks in addition to their Flavorista Favorites. This time, we’re featuring three new beverages plus another one returning for this season. They will be a digital exclusive available on the site and the official SONIC app. Pick your flavor from the following drinks before you head out to the beach:
- Strawberry Cheesecake Cream Cooler – This drink features a cheesecake syrup and real strawberries that are blended with the brand’s icy slush. There’s also a vanilla soft serve finished with a generous amount of whipped cream and a sprinkle of graham cracker crumbs.
- Cocoberry Cream – It features a blend of coconut and vanilla that’s poured over the brand’s signature ice. The drink is topped with real strawberries, crisp Sprite, and a sweet cream to make it creamy.
- Fruited Dragon Slush – This summer drink is made of dragon fruit and vanilla that’s swirled into SONIC’s icy slush. It is topped with real strawberries.
- Shark Bite – No drink screams summer more than this Flavorista Favorite feature. The Shark Bite drink is a blend of blue coconut and vanilla that is poured over SONIC’s signature ice. It’s topped with real strawberries and crisp Sprite.

More SONIC Summer Drinks
If you’re a SONIC fan, then you’d know that the chain is rich when it comes to their beverage menu. They’ll always release limited-time beverages under the Flavorista Favorites line. With this, the chain brought more drinks under their Flavorista Favorites wing last month. Check out the following:
- Strawberry Shortcake Snowball Slush Float – Features a sweet strawberry shortcake flavor but in a slush form. It’s layered with a creamy vanilla soft serve and finished off with sugar crystals.
- Dirty Dr. Pepper – Taking on the dirty soda trend, this digital exclusive drink features a base of Dr. Pepper mixed with coconut cream and lime.
- Rainbow Slush – Features a rainbow-inspired slush with blue raspberry flavor, real strawberries, and lemonade. They’re all layered on top of each other, forming a colorful rainbow slushie treat.
- Berries and Cream – Another berry drink which features a fusion of blackberry and raspberry syrups that are layered with real strawberries, sweet cream, and a fizzy Sprite finish.
- Unicorn Dream Slush – One of SONIC’s newest drinks, this slush is inspired by unicorns with its vibrant pink color and magical flavor bubbles. There’s a fluffy whipped cream cloud on top with sprinkles of sugar crystals.
- Lemonade Cream Cooler – Looking for a lemonade option? This cooler will bring the classic lemonade to a twist. It features a tangy lemonade that is blended with sweet and creamy soft serve. This lemonade cooler is only available for digital orders.
- Twisted Flamingo – Another digital exclusive beverage, it features a refreshing Sprite base with a blend of cherry vanilla and sweet cream.
If you’re the adventurous type looking for unique drinks, then you can get SONIC’s new Picklerita Slush. Dropping on June 30 under the brand’s collaboration with Grillo’s Pickles, it features a pickle juice blend with tart lime and Pickle Juice Flavor Bubbles. You think the drink’s unique? There’s also a Grillo’s Pickle Chip placed on top! You can get the Picklerita Slush in the Big Dill Meal together with the Double or Triple SONIC Smasher, and Pickle Seasoned Tots or Groovy Fries.
But that’s not all of SONIC’s summer drinks. Just earlier this month, SONIC teamed up with popular bestselling authors Christina Lauren, Abby Jimenez, and Ashley Poston for the perfect beach read refreshments. The chain introduced the Sweet Topped Lemonades in three flavors:
- Sweet Topped Lemonade – The classic tart, all-natural lemonade that is topped with a velvety sweet foam.
- Sweet Topped Strawberry Lemonade – Same as the classic lemonade option, it has an all-natural lemonade base mixed with strawberries and topped with a sweet foam.
- Sweet Topped Blueberry Lavender Lemonade – A tart, all-natural lemonade drink with blueberry lavender flavor blend and cold foam.
The Summer of Sweet Treats
We’re getting more and more sweet treats this summer. Think of refreshments, ice cream, shakes, and everything in between. Today, we’re giving you more reasons to enjoy the season through everything sweet coming your way. Check out what other stores have to offer as their summer specials:
- Baskin-Robbins’ Sweet on Sydney Menu – Your favorite dessert brand just collaborated with Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney for a sweet treat. First, we’ve got the Sydney Signature Scoop, which is a Rainbow Sherbet with a chocolate-dipped waffle cone, rainbow sprinkles, and gummi bear minis. Meanwhile, Sydney’s Signature Fizz is a combination of Rainbow Sherbet and STARRY lemon lime soda with gummi bear minis.
- Dairy Queen’s OREO Dirt Pie Blizzard Treat – Dairy Queen is bringing this treat back from the freezer. It’s their first-ever digital exclusive product. It features OREO cookie pieces, gummy worms, and fudgy crumble that is blended with their world-famous vanilla soft serve.
- Dunkin’s Sabrina’s Strawberry Daydream Refresher – Dunkin’ reunites with GRAMMY-winning star Sabrina Carpenter for another drink collaboration. The Strawberry Daydream Refresher features a sweet strawberry flavor with oatmilk and a velvety cloud of cold foam.
- Krispy Kreme’s Stars, Stripes, & Sweetness Collection – This collection is Krispy Kreme’s Fourth of July special. It consists of Freedom Ring Doughnut, USA Party Doughnut, and Vanilla Cookies & Kreme Liberty Crunch Doughnut. You can order it individually or grab a dozen.
- Shake Shack’s Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Shake – Shake Shack just brought back their Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Shake, and this time, they’re serving it nationwide. It features a pistachio frozen custard spun with kataifi in a shell of dark chocolate. There’s also some chopped pistachios and even more kataifi on top.

From The Club
SONIC just surprised me with a whole menu rollout of summer drinks, and I’m here for it. I’ll be trying them out throughout the summer, but of course, there will be drinks that I would like to put on top of my list. First, I’ll try the Strawberry Cheesecake Cream Cooler, followed by the Shark Bite, then the Sweet Topped Strawberry Lemonade. But if you ask me about the drink I won’t try, it has got to be the Picklerita Slush because I hate pickles. 😅
