While we’re all having those holiday blues while glued to our computers, it’s about time to cheer up as your favorite chains, Chick-fil-A and Jack in the Box, are bringing you some new year delights to brighten your mood. If you’re looking for some uplifting, then you’ve come to the right place with these exciting new releases.
Chick-fil-A
Chick-fil-A fans, gather around as your favorite snack stop is bringing back the much-loved Grilled Spicy Deluxe Sandwich that perfectly pairs with a Cilantro Lime Sauce. But that’s not all, as Chick-fil-A will also release refreshing and fruity Key Lime seasonal beverages to accompany the sandwich. Mark your calendars as on January 7, 2025, you can get these New Year goodies and add heat and lime to the cold winter months at participating Chick-fil-A restaurants nationwide.
For some of you who have never tasted the Grilled Spicy Deluxe Sandwich, do you ever wonder why this sandwich is a fan favorite? First introduced in 2021, the Grilled Spicy Deluxe Sandwich is an addition to the chain’s grilled entrée selection that brings bold flavors and spice to help warm up customer’s winter season.
It features a boneless breast part chicken that is marinated with a blend of peppers, grilled tender and spicy taste and is served on a toasted multigrain brioche bun. To blend in the spiciness of the chicken, other sandwich fillings such as Colby-Jack cheese, green leaf lettuce, and tomato are added. The Grilled Spicy Deluxe Sandwich is served with a creamy Cilantro Lime Sauce.
To create a perfect pair, order any of Chick-fil-A’s Key Lime Seasonal Beverages. Like the Grilled Spicy Deluxe Chicken Sandwich, these beverages are also a comeback menu option, but they actually go way back to 2019. It notes of a “bright and zesty pick-me-up” drink. - Key Lime Frosted Lemonade – A refreshing drink that combines Chick-fil-A Lemonade (or choose Diet Lemonade) with the chain’s signature Icedream dessert that is mixed with a natural Key Lime flavor.
- Key Lime Lemonade – You can always go back to the basics with the Classic Chick-fil-A Lemonade (or Diet Lemonade) mixed with natural Key Lime flavor that is said to have the sour taste of your usual lemonade plus a refreshing combination.

Jack in the Box
While everyone’s been anticipating the comeback of McDonald’s Snack Wraps for the past few months, someone is quietly cooking something in their restaurant kitchens to rival this famous wraps. It’s no other than Jack in the Box, of course!
Food blogger @Snackolator revealed on Facebook last January 2, 2025 that Jack in the Box is releasing a ton of new fast food items to welcome 2025. From Snack Wraps that rival McDonald’s to refreshments and boneless chicken wings, check out the new Jack in the Box menu releases that you might want to try.

Another Broken Egg Cafe
Beginning January 7, 2025, Another Broken Egg Cafe is opening its doors to you to try out their new seasonal menu for the ultimate brunch experience. Choose among their new limited-time offerings:
- Lemon Mascarpone Pancakes – These fluffy pancakes are not your usual ones, as they’re layered with lemon mascarpone. It includes an assortment of toppings such as blackberries, raspberries, whipped cream, and powdered sugar. They are served with baked bacon or sausage patties with two eggs of any style.
- Deep South Biscuit Sandwich – A returning menu item that features an oversized biscuit that is packed with pimiento cheese, fried chicken tenders, bacon jam, and an over-medium egg. They’re served with country potatoes and pickles on the side.
- Blackberry Stuffed French Toast – This French Toast uses blackberry cream cheese on the toast and is topped with mango whipped cream and r*m butter sauce. It is served with your choice of sausage patties or baked bacon.
- Louisiana Quiche – This quiche is loaded with andouille sausage, shrimp, and crawfish étouffée. For extra flavor, the dish is garnished with green onions on top and served with your choice of grits or country potatoes.
Starbucks
Starting today, January 3, 2025, Starbucks will begin offering their Cortado as a way to welcome the new year. If you’re an espresso lover, then you should sip on Starbucks’ take on this drink. It’s a warm and free-from-any-topping cup that includes just espresso and milk. According to the brand, their Cortado is made from three ristretto shots from their Blonde Espresso. You can also choose to get Starbucks’ non-dairy Cortado, which is the Brown Sugar Oatmilk Cortado.
Now, to match with your Cortado is the new certified vegan Spicy Falafel Pocket that features a combination of hummus, smashed falafel, pickled onions, roasted red bell peppers, and spicy herb sauce to top it all off. The good news is that the Spicy Falafel Pocket will be a permanent new addition to the Starbucks menu.

Chick-fil-A and Jack in the Box did it again with new fast food items on their menu that are sure to welcome 2025. I‘m excited to grab a bite at Chick-fil-A’s Grilled Spicy Sandwich Deluxe and Jack in the Box’s own version of Snack Wraps, particularly the Chicken Fajita Wrap. I would also get my hands on the chain’s Honey Garlic Boneless Wings, as I think that they would make the perfect snack for movie nights.
