Calling all Taco Bell fans, your favorite chain just dropped a whole lot of exciting new eats and treats this April!
Feeling excited yet? You’d better be, as Taco Bell is surprising you with a fan-favorite comeback, a refreshing beverage fit for the warmth of the month, and new items that have been testing across the country since April 24. If you’re up for any of these, then read along, as you might just get your new favorite meal.
Crispy Chicken Nuggets
Starting off strong with a nationwide release is the return of the Crispy Chicken Nuggets! In case you missed it on its limited-time release last December, the Crispy Chicken Nuggets were a complete sellout with an overwhelming demand. This is a step towards Taco Bell exploring a long-term crispy chicken menu, so better cross your fingers for the crispy chicken to be part of the permanent menu lineup at Taco Bell.
The Crispy Chicken Nuggets feature a tender, all-white meat chicken marinated in zesty jalapeño buttermilk flavors. The nuggets are also coated in crunchy, seasoned tortilla chips and fried for a crispy perfection feel. But of course, these Crispy Chicken Nuggets aren’t a standalone menu item as they come with a dip for even more flavor. Another fan-favorite is back, and it’s none other than the Hidden Valley Fire Ranch Sauce. Like the nuggets, it’s also backed by popular demand since it’s a top-selected sauce for crispy chicken orders during its first release. It leads along with other sauces from last year, like the Bell Sauce and Jalapeño Honey Mustard.

Dragonfruit Freeze
Here’s a refreshing comeback hitting nationwide release. Yup, it’s the Dragonfruit Freeze release! It’s a slushy drink with swirls of vibrant pink dragonfruit flavor. In case you don’t know, it was first released in 2020 and re-released in March 2024. One of Taco Bell’s popular frozen drinks, the Dragonfruit Freeze, is available nationwide but for a limited time only. It is priced at $3.69 for a regular size of 16 oz and $3.89 for a large size of 20 oz.
Crispy Cheese Triple Sacked Taco
Taco Bell offers the Crispy Cheese Triple Sacked Taco in Sacramento, California. This taco brings a twist to the favorite and iconic Taco Bell menu item, which is the Crunchy Taco. It has an outer shell made from 100% crispy cheese with a second layer of a blend of mozzarella, pepper jack, and cheddar cheeses, all melted in between a warm flour tortilla. And lastly, the third layer features a seasoned beef Crunchy Taco, smothered in Hot Ranch Sauce inside.
