New Frescas From Taco Bell

In the last two years, Taco Bell carefully planned to make their beverages a part of their big menu. They tested limited edition Agua Refrescas in Irvine, California, which was inspired by refreshers from Coffee Chillers and Churros Chillers. Now, they’re making these Agua Refrescas a part of their official menu items.
Last June 17, they dropped six premium Refescas that are inspired by the traditional Agua fresca. It’s a non-alcoholic fresh juice that’s made from blending fresh fruits with sugar and water. First off, they’ve got the limited-edition Rockstar Energy Refescas in Pineapple Lime and Tropical Punch. It’s a 20-ounce drink with 200 milligrams of caffeine. They’re priced at $4.49.
Next are the Agua Refrescas, which are priced at $3.99 and are a permanent part of Taco Bell’s menu beverages. It comes in three flavors: Strawberry Passionfruit, Dragonfruit Berry, and Mango Peach. The drink features freeze-dried fruit pieces and green tea with 52 milligrams of caffeine.
Next is the Refresca Freeze, which is priced at $3.79 for 16 ounces or $3.99 for 20 ounces. It’s a limited-edition Strawberry Lime flavored drink that contains freeze-dried fruit pieces with no caffeine. It’s got the taste of the Rockstar Energy Refrescas and Agua Refrescas but with no added caffeine.
Popeyes Also Has a New Sauce

If you don’t know the news, Popeyes also dropped their new sauce earlier this week. Say hello to the new Popeyes Signature Sauce, which is a permanent addition to their menu. It’s inspired by the chain’s New Orleans roots, which combine bold flavors of bell pepper, celery, and onion. It also has garlic and hot sauce to give it the right amount of heat. Also, the new Popeyes Signature Sauce features a newly designed rounded cup to dip your dippers easily.
Chef Amy Alarcon, VP of Culinary Innovation at Popeyes, shared that the sauce was developed over the last five years as they want it to become an iconic part of Popeyes’ menu. They also released the Chicken Dippers for a limited time to go along with Popeyes Signature Sauce. It features thin strips of all-white breast meat that’s hand-battered with Popeye’s signature blend of Louisiana garlic and spice.
Mix and match your Chicken Dippers and Signature Sauce with more of their popular menu items with the new digital exclusive feature of Build Your Own Bundle. You can access it through the Popeyes app and website, as it will give you flexibility to choose three menu items for proteins and two sides for only $20.

From The Club
While there’s a wrap battle, Taco Bell is out here creating the summer sauce. I completely understand why they turned to Sweet Chipotle BBQ Sauce, as it’s reminiscent of those summer outdoor BBQs we used to have. The best thing about it is that we get to dip our Taco Bell favorites in their new sauce. Well, there are more reasons to get their Crispy Chicken lineup! 😋
