Let’s face it, some snacks just hit different when you’re a kid. Whether it was the sugary rush of a fruit roll or the satisfying crunch of cheese crackers in your lunchbox, certain treats defined our childhoods. Do you know what’s even more amazing? Some of those iconic snacks are still around, standing strong through new food trends and rebrands. If you want a dose of nostalgia, here are 12 snacks from your childhood that you can still get today.

12. Oreo

We’re starting things strong with Oreo cookies that are still everyone’s favorite snack. While they’re also famous today as a filling or add-on of almost every fast food chain’s desserts, OREO goes way back to 1912. These cookies have managed to evolve with each generation without losing their appeal. With a lot of flavors available, you’ll never go wrong with one of America’s classic snacks.

11. Teddy Grahams

While not as old as OREO cookies, Teddy Grahams have proven to be a favorite lunchbox snack back in the ‘80s. They’re these bite-sized, teddy bear-shaped graham cookies that come in flavors of honey, cinnamon, and chocolate. If you’re missing them today, you can still get them at any store since they’re still carried by Nabisco.

10. Drake’s Coffee Cakes

There’s nothing better than a brand who created Coffee Cakes since 1930! Many older kids got to have a taste of the coffee blended in Drake’s Coffee Cakes, and the good news is, they’re still available at many grocery stores nationwide.

Remember those cone-shaped corn snacks that you probably used to stick your finger in? They’re called Bugles, and General Mills still continues to produce them. These snacks debuted in 1964 with four classic flavors that we know of today, like Original, Nacho Cheese, Chocolate Peanut Butter, and Caramel. But if you’re in Canada, sadly, Bugles have been discontinued since 2022.

8. Lunchables

Another popular snack that everyone had in their lunchbox is Lunchables. Although they were pulled out from school lunch menus just last year, they’re still available to get in grocery stores. It features a tray with crackers, processed meat, and cheese, which raised issues about the snack being unhealthy. Surprisingly, Kraft tried to make Lunchables healthier, only to fail every time. But yes, you can still get them in grocery stores today.

7. Little Debbie’s Cosmic Brownies

Bagel Bites were the ultimate after-school snack, combining both bagels and pizza. These bite-sized treats featured mini bagels topped with tomato sauce, melted mozzarella, and pepperoni, all packed on top of a tiny bread. Decades later, they’re still available in stores, proving that you can get bite-sized pizzas at any time.

3. Fruit Roll-Ups

Remember those days when you would wrap these fruity candy tapes around your tongue or roll them around your fingers? They’re the Fruit Roll-Ups that were created back in 1983 by General Mills. However, the brand slowly shifted away from its fruit, and even a lawsuit was filed by the Center for Science in Public Interest since there were no real fruits in them. In response, they produced non-GMO fruit rolls that are free from refined sugar.

2. Astronaut Ice Cream

One unique treat that you can probably remember from your childhood is Astronaut Ice Cream. It has this unique texture of dry and airy. They were a hit back in the ‘70s as space food or treats that you could bring into outer space! They’re still available with the same manufacturers as before. Sadly, they’re a bit difficult to find as they’re only available in select museums and gift shops. If you stumble upon Astronaut Ice Cream, don’t miss your chance to taste it again.
