Whataburger heard our cries. The Pico is back and it’s bringing the heat!

If you’re feeling a little bored with your fast food orders lately, we know just what you need. Or to be more specific, Whataburger just has the cure. The brand resurrected one of its crave-worthy creations, known for its fresh toppings and flavor-packed punch. It’s only here for a limited time, though, so you better run to the nearest participating Whataburger location!

You can now get your hands (again) on Whataburger’s Pico de Gallo Burger, which officially dropped yesterday, June 3, 2025. That’s right, this iconic burger finally made its grand return after almost four years of hiatus. It features a five-inch toasty bun loaded with 100% fresh and never frozen beef or the crispy Whatachick’n patty, house-made pico de gallo, melty pepper jack cheese, and cilantro-lime sauce.

Whataburger is reintroducing the Pico de Gallo burger after hearing the pleas from its fans. The burger was first introduced in 2020 and it’s returning for the brand’s 75th anniversary to join other limited-time favorites. To celebrate its return, Whataburger is also launching “La Gran Whatalucha.” This is a four-part social media series featuring luchadores (wrestlers) competing for a custom Whatalucha championship belt. The series will feature high-flying action, dramatic entrances, and of course, the bold energy of Pico de Gallo burger.

What’s New from Whataburger?

This year has been pretty eventful for Whataburger, and a lot of their new releases are tied to their 75th year anniversary celebration. Early this year, other fan-favorites like Monterey Melt and Chicken Fajita Taco made a comeback. The brand is just getting warmed up with these releases because leading up to the big day (August 8), Whataburger will once again reach back into Whatavault and revive other legendary menu items. These are the items that customers have requested for on social media, emails, and via online petitions.

Beyond the menu, Whataburger also launched a new digital home to celebrate their fans. This new little corner on the Internet tells “75 Stories for 75 Years,” diving into the experiences of long-time Whataburger devotees and those of newcomers in the club. Additionally, the brand is offering fresh monthly deals priced at $19.50 (its founding year) on the Whatastore. These monthly drops include exclusive merch and must-have collectibles, perfect for representing your Whataburger love in style.

Whataburger’s New Value Platform

Of course, Whataburger didn’t forget about budget-conscious customers. That’s why the brand launched the Bigger Better Bundles, a new value platform that allows guests to stretch their dollar further without sacrificing quality food experience. For a limited time, those who will purchase any full-sized Whatameal can pair it with one of these three bundle options for a discounted price:

  • Kids Whatameal ($4) – Choose from 2-piece Whatachick’n Strips, Grilled Cheese, Justaburger®, or 4-piece Whatachick’n Bites. Each one comes with small fries and a kid’s drink.
  • Double Meat Jr. Whatameal ($5) – This meal deal is perfect for date night, and it includes small fries and a drink.
  • 9-piece WhataWings ($6) – These crispy, saucy wings are tossed in your choice of Buffalo, Honey Butter, Honey BBQ, or Sweet & Spicy sauce. Great for sharing (or keep it all to yourself).

According to the brand, the pairing of their big portions and new value meals is an ideal choice for guests who are looking for extra value. Even the returning Pico de Gallo can be paired with any of the three bundle options, so guests can savor the best flavors while getting the best bang for their buck.

New Fast Food Releases to Satisfy Any Craving

Let’s talk more about flavors, because there are new ones you shouldn’t miss this June and for the rest of the summer season. Whether you’re looking for a sweet finish to your meal, or you want something loaded to keep you fueled amid the heat, you’ll find what you need here (and more).

Tim Hortons’ New Breakfast Menu Item

Starting off with the most important meal of the day, Tim Hortons has a new loaded item that you wouldn’t want to miss. Say hello to Ryan’s Scrambled Eggs Loaded Breakfast! This item was dreamed up in collaboration with Ryan Reynolds, hence the name. Ryan even shared that when he went to Tim Hortons Test Kitchen, he ate an “irresponsible” amount of eggs to create the breakfast platter.

Ryan’s Scrambled Eggs Loaded Breakfast features two scrambled eggs made with freshly cracked eggs, plus crispy hashbrowns and your choice of bacon strips or sausage crumbles. All these are smothered in Tim Hortons’ chipotle sauce. The best part? If you want these on-the-go, you can opt for Wraps for a more convenient option.

Dave & Buster’s x Hot Wheels Collab

Hot Wheels fans, this one’s for you! Dave & Buster’s has partnered with Mattel and Hot Wheels to turbocharge your summer with an exclusive new game and a themed lineup of bites and drinks. You can now experience the Hot Wheels universe and the adrenaline-pumping energy by playing the brand-new Hot Wheels Victory Lap, only available at Dave & Buster’s. Speed through victory while driving your favorite cars, but don’t forget to make a pit stop.

In between twists and turns, you can fuel up with Dave & Buster’s Hot Wheels menu, available for a limited time only. It consists of Turbocharged Chicken Sliders, which are basically buffalo-style sandwiches with pickles and ranch. There are also Turbo Bites (donut holes with dipping sauces) and Hot Wheels Refreshers. This is the action-packed and flavor-filled summer you’ve been waiting for!

Baskin-Robbins x Trolli Collab

Looks like summer has different personalities this year, and over at Baskin-Robbins, you’re getting a sweet and sour energy. In an attempt to meet the demands for treats that double as candy-coated nostalgia, the brand partnered with Trolli to release a new lineup of frozen treats. Part of the collab is Baskin-Robbin’s June flavor of the month, the Trolli Sour Blast. It’s made with  Trolli lime-flavored ice cream, orange sherbet, and more lime-flavored swirls. You can also enjoy this as part of a fizzy drink (Trolli Sour Blast Fizz), which also uses STARRY Lemon-Lime soda for a bubbly sour rush.

From The Club

Looks like Whataburger is going all in with their 75th anniversary celebration! The latest item they pulled from the Whatavault is Pico de Gallo Burger, and it looks heavenly, in my opinion. I’m not a fan of spicy food, but this one seems to have a mild spice level, which makes me want to try it. I’m excited to see more returning fan-favorites and more value-based offerings from the brand, like their new Bigger Better Bundles.
