15. McPizza – McDonald’s
Yes, McDonald’s served its own pizza back in 1980s and it was discontinued around 2000s. The fast food giant stopped making these pizzas not because they’re unpopular, but because customers needed to wait for a long time to get their pies. The word on Reddit is that McDonald’s pepperoni personal pizza was better than Pizza Hut’s personal pan pizza.
14. P’Zone – Pizza Hut
Speaking of Pizza Hut, the chain also had an iconic item that’s no longer on its menu. P’Zone, a hybrid of pizza and calzone, was introduced in 2000s and became an instant hit. It was basically a 12-inch pizza baked calzone style and served with a marinara dipping sauce. P’Zone was discontinued in favor of Pizza Hut Melt.

Fast food fans are saying that dropping KFC potato wedges is one of the biggest crimes in the industry. Fans still vividly remember the joy of dipping them in mashed potatoes and gravy, which is pretty difficult to do with traditional fries. The replacement for the wedges–Secret Recipe Fries–received an overwhelming positive feedback. KFC said it took them 60 years to perfect the recipe.
10. Blueberry Black Tea – Starbucks
It’s been five years since we last saw the Blueberry Black Tea at Starbucks and we’re missing it like crazy! The strong aroma draws you in, and there’s the blueberry that brings subtle sweetness and a tangy flavor to the drink. Sadly, the blueberry juice that Starbucks used for this tea got discontinued, which led to the Blueberry Black Tea being lost forever.

Who says you can’t eat the bowl as part of the meal? Well, we used to had that luxury when Domino’s served their Pasta Bread Bowls (back in 2009). A serving of their pasta dish like Chicken Alfredo or Pasta Primavera was baked directly inside a bread bowl. Honestly, having that bread you could pull-apart and use to mop up leftover sauce was genius!
7. Fire-Grilled Ribs – Burger King
BK’s fire-grilled ribs meal actually saw a massive success, but the fast food giant didn’t expect it. That’s part of the reason why it got discontinued; Burger King ran out of meat even before the schedule of limited time offering was over, as revealed in a Yahoo article. The smokey, slow-cooked bone-in pork ribs will always be missed!
6. Onion Nuggets – McDonald’s
McDonald’s Onion Nuggets have been off the menu for over 40 years. Yup, these fried and battered bites, which looked exactly like nuggets, have onions within them, and they were sold in 1978 and 1979. The Onion Nuggets were intended for vegetarian customers but failed to become popular. Weeks later, McDonald’s introduced the Chicken Nuggets and the rest is history.

If no one’s going to say it, we will: BK’s Bacon Sundae is one of the most underrated desserts of all time. The vanilla soft serve ice cream was a great match for the bacon bits, and there was caramel or hot fudge also swirled in! If you ever tried dipping fries in your sundae, then you’d know that the sweet-savory combo works like magic!
3. OREO Hot Chocolate – Dunkin’
On a cold winter evening, Dunkin’s OREO Hot Chocolate hits different! That’s why we were bummed when it got discontinued after its six-year stint. The donut brand started offering the cozy drink in 2016 as part of its seasonal menu, alongside Original Chocolate and Dunkaccino. To make room for new items, the OREO-flavored drink had to to go.
2. Double Decker – Taco Bell

Others who put up their sauces for sale received bids of over $20,000.
