Kickoff’s only a few weeks away and the next NFL season will be starting again. Football is one of the most exciting sports to watch. And what better way to watch football than with a handful of food from Buffalo Wild Wings? Wings and football have been fundamentally linked together ever since the Buffalo Bills played in four consecutive Super Bowls back in the 90s. Since then, wings (Buffalo Wings in particular) have been pretty much associated as the best game day snack when watching football. Which leads us to Buffalo Wild Wings’ latest announcement.
Buffalo Wild Wings is introducing four exciting new menu items just in time for football season. But there’s a catch. You’d expect them to release some kind of chicken wings, right? Well, not exactly. They’re actually releasing something even better. As the NFL season approaches, Buffalo Wild Wings is getting ready for game day with a fresh new menu that heavily features bacon. We’re getting three new sandwiches from them and a new sauce for their wings. Let’s take a look at each one.
BLT
BLTs are a classic sandwich staple in fast food. But this is actually the first time that Buffalo Wild Wings is serving this kind of sandwich on their menu. It’s pretty much a standard BLT. It’s made with crispy bacon, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, and a bacon aioli, all served on toasted Parmesan brioche bread.
Bacon Patty Melt
I’ve always found burgers made with toast a little unusual. Maybe I’m just used to burgers being served on buns. But that doesn’t take anything away from how good the new Bacon Patty Melt is. It features two smashed beef patties, topped with bacon, Swiss and American cheese, grilled onions, and bacon aioli on brioche toast.
Bacon Mac & Cheese Burger
Here’s something for anyone looking for a heavier meal. The Bacon Mac & Cheese Burger looks like what it sounds like: a burger filled with bacon mac & cheese. It contains two smashed patties with bacon, American cheese, mac & cheese, pickled hot peppers, and Hatch chile aioli, all sandwiched between two challah buns.
Buffalo Bacon Sauce
Of course, we can’t have a new football season, without a new wing flavor, right? Buffalo Wild Wings shows some love for their chicken wings by introducing a new wing sauce called the Buffalo Bacon Sauce. It’s a unique take on the typical Buffalo Wing Sauce. It combines the flavors of spicy Buffalo with smoky bacon. It’s such a versatile new sauce that you can use it on wings, burgers, and sandwiches.
Additionally, customers can add thick-cut bacon to most items on Buffalo Wild Wings’ menu. All these new limited time items will be available at all Buffalo Wing Sauce locations across the country starting on August 19, 2024. Football fans will be eating good every game day this season. Sunday night football has never been this awesome.

Buffalo Wild Wings recently dropped this tropical twist on their famous wing sauces. It combines the sweetness of classic barbecue sauce with flavors of pineapple, mango, and hints of ginger. The result is a unique flavor that’s both sweet, tangy, and has a bit of heat.
Honey Sriracha and Honey Garlic Sauce
Last March, Buffalo Wild Wings dropped these new sauces in time for March Madness. They are both based on honey with a mix of other flavors. The Honey Sriracha sauce mixes both honey and sriracha to create a unique sweet and spicy sauce. On the other hand, the Honey Garlic sauce combines that deep garlic flavor with sweet honey and soy sauce.

The new NFL season is finally here, and I can’t wait to go back to watching football every Sunday night. Of course, watching football while eating chicken wings just hits different. It’s something that just feels right. While I do appreciate the new sauce coming out from Buffalo Wild Wings, I’m a little more excited about their new sandwiches. They’re not exactly groundbreaking items but it means that I can get these new sandwiches in addition to an order of wings.
