Trader Joe’s offers many beloved products that we love to keep in our kitchens. Some are available all the time, while others are only around for a short while. Fans of Trader Joe’s can get really excited about those seasonal treats, sometimes causing them to disappear from the shelves quickly. Recently, the grocery store introduced a new snack that we hope sticks around for a while.
Trader Joe’s New ‘Hold the Cone’-Inspired Snack
Last week, people on social media noticed that Trader Joe’s had come out with Hold the Cone Tips. These snacks don’t need to be refrigerated and are based on Trader Joe’s Hold the Cone Mini Ice Cream Cones, which were voted the best dessert at TJ’s in 2023.
The original dessert has mini ice cream cones with chocolate, filled with ice cream, and dipped in more chocolate. The new snack version has waffle cone tips filled with dark chocolate, just like the last bite of a Hold the Cone.
Comments on an Instagram post by traderjoesnew said the snack was “UNREALLLLLL” and “so good!” In a Reddit thread, someone said, “Hold the Cone Tips: they taste exactly as you would imagine. Not too sweet, nice dark chocolate and waffle cone flavor. A good little treat! 9/10.”
If you want to try the chocolate-filled waffle cone tips yourself, a box weighing 3.5 ounces costs $3.99. Trader Joe’s says you can find them with the cookies, but some fans online are spotting them in new product displays.
