Behind every crave-worthy menu item is a team of culinary masterminds dedicated to reinventing flavors. Now, we’re getting a peek inside their legendary Test Kitchen. Here are the top 30 menu items Taco Bell is cooking up for 2025.
30. Crispy Fajitas

Up for some spiced fajitas? Taco Bell will be dropping them on the menu soon for you to enjoy. It features tempura-battered crispy bell pepper, onions, and jalapeños. They’re paired with some White Habanero Ranch for dipping.
29. Luxe Cravings Boxes

There’s a new value offer at Taco Bell for those of you on the hunt for super savers! The Luxe Cravings Boxes come in $5, $7, and $9 values that dropped earlier this year. They include some Taco Bell favorites such as Crunchy Taco, Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, and Cinnamon Twists. The Luxe Cravings Boxes gives you a rotating selection of offers at great value.
28. Cantina Chicken Quesadilla

Craving for a quick quesadilla midnight snack? Grab the new Cantina Chicken Quesadilla, which is part of Taco Bell’s new Caliente Cantina Chicken Menu. This particular food item features Cantina Chicken wrapped in a flour tortilla. There’s also a Caliente sauce with some Avocado Salsa Verde.
27. Queso Fundido Rolled Chicken Taquitos

Crispy taquitos are making their way to Taco Bell! Soon enough, you’ll be able to taste these treats that are stuffed with chicken. For extra flavor, the taquitos will come with a Green Chili Queso Fundido dipping. That’s all we know for now, so better catch them when they drop at Taco Bell locations.
26. Cantina Chicken Bowl

If you want your Chicken Caliente in a bowl, then you can opt for the Cantina Chicken Bowl. It features seasoned rice, Cantina Chicken, iceberg lettuce, black beans, and shredded purple cabbage. What makes this dish special is the chicken that is Mexican-seasoned and slow-roasted.
25. Fan Style

Customizable menu items, anyone? Taco Bell is giving you a chance to share their unique menu creations through the new Fan Style in-app functionality. This feature will allow fans to customize, name, and share their unique Taco Bell creations with friends and other fans as well.
24. Quesocrisp Taco

From the name itself, the new Quesocrisp Taco upgrades your usual taco experience at Taco Bell. This particular menu item features a shell made out of crispy cheese. That’s all we know for now so catch them when they finally drop at Taco Bell locations soon.
23. Rolled Poblano Quesadilla

Looking for more Taco Bell quesadilla picks? Another quesadilla will be dropping soon. It will feature a marinated steak or slow-roasted chicken plus poblano peppers. They’re rolled into one amazing tortilla to fill you up.
22. Zab’s Hot Ranch

Taco Bell is working with Zab’s to create the new Zab’s Hot Ranch. It will take the flavor of Zab’s own flavor and combine it with Taco Bell’s Spicy Ranch sauce. The special thing about Zab’s Hot Sauce is that they craft their hot sauce with Datil Pepper known for its lingering slow burn.
21. Purple Chile Sauce

This new purple sauce features spice that Taco Bell has never created before. Three unique chiles will be added: Ají Pajanca, Habanero, and Ghost Pepper. You can dip your Taco Bell favorites in them once they’re released.
20. Cantina Chicken Burrito

Bored of your usual Taco Bell burrito order? It’s a good thing that they’re dropping a tasty new option. Another Caliente Chicken Menu special to grab is this filling Cantina Chicken Burrito. It’s filled with Cantina chicken, iceberg lettuce, and shredded purple cabbage. For a tasty add-on, expect your chicken to be slow-roasted and seasoned in Mexican style.
19. Milk Bar Birthday Cake Churros

Last February, Taco Bell and Milk Bar reunited for a sweet treat. In case you missed it, it’s called the Milk Bar Birthday Cake Churros. Every bite of this warm and crispy treat will give you the iconic Milk Bar birthday cake frosting as it’s topped with festive sprinkles and sugar. They’re available now in the U.S. and Canada locations while supplies last.
18. Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos

As part of the Decades Menu, Taco Bell is dropping the Cool Ranch Doritos that was first introduced back in 2012. However, it flew off the menu in 2019 when the brand decided to “declutter” their menu. With the Locos Tacos, you’ll get a taco shell made out of Doritos’ Cool Ranch flavored chips. And you’re finally getting them again soon!
17. Double Decker Taco

Another menu item dropping from the Decades Menu is the Double Decker Taco. It was introduced back in 1995, with its unique feature being the taco shells wrapped in a bean-filled tortilla. The tortilla contains seasoned beef, lettuce, and shredded cheddar cheese. This particular menu item actually made a brief return back in October last year, but only for a limited time. The good news is, you can get them again when they drop.
16. Grilled Cheese Burrito with Shredded Beef

A Grilled Cheese Burrito with Shredded Beef? This is not a drill, as Taco Bell is dropping them soon. To give you a glimpse, the old Grilled Cheese Burrito features seasoned beef, seasoned rice, and a three-cheese blend, all smothered with Chipotle sauce. It might probably be meatier than the latter, so we’d have to wait for its release.
15. Toasted Cheddar Street Chalupa

As an ode to the popular Cheesy Street Chalupa, Taco Bell is adding an upgrade with this new Chalupa in the street. It will feature the same cheddar-baked shell packed with your choice of slow-roasted chicken or marinated grilled steak. They’re also topped with diced onions and cilantro and served in two pairs. The new Chile Lime Crema Sauce will also bring the flavor of this Chalupa.
14. Crispy Chicken Nuggets

Remember the Crispy Chicken Nuggets that made a splash at Taco Bell last year? Good news, as they’re coming back again! In addition to the a la carte option, you’re also getting Crispy Chicken Burritos and Tacos appearing in U.S. and Canada locations this year. They will appear together with Avocado Ranch and Spicy Ranchero Sauce.
13. Mike’s Hot Honey Diablo Sauce

Great news! To go along with the Crispy Chicken Nuggets, Taco Bell teams up with Mike’s Hot Honey to create a new flavor. Introducing the new Mike’s Hot Honey Diablo Sauce that will be hitting the menus later this year alongside the Crispy Chicken Nuggets.
12. Flamin’ Hot Burrito

A spicy new burrito will be firing up Taco Bell menus really soon. Introducing the Flamin’ Hot Burrito. It features nacho cheese sauce, some Flamin’ Hot Fritos, reduced-fat sour cream, and seasoned beef. But wait, that’s not all; finishing them all up is the new Flamin’ Hot Rice wrapped in a warm tortilla.
11. Steak & Queso Crunchwrap Sliders

A new Crunchwrap innovation will be added to Taco Bell menus soon in the U.S. and Canada. Say, see you soon at the Steak & Queso Crunchwrap Sliders. These portable wraps will upgrade the popular Crunchwrap Supreme with grilled marinated steak, creamy chipotle sauce, pico de gallo, cheddar cheese, and a mini toastada. It’s wrapped in a grilled flour tortilla and comes with a Green Chile Queso dip.
10. Mountain Dew Baja Midnight

Taco Bell’s famous Baja Blast is also getting an upgrade with an exciting new flavor. Catch the Mountain Dew Baja Midnight, which is a refreshing blast of passionfruit combined with tropical lime from Baja Blast. Note that this beverage is exclusively available at Taco Bell locations only.
9. Weak Knees Fire

Ready to step up your sauce game? Taco Bell is working with Brooklyn-born condiment brand Bushwick Kitchen for a new spicy sauce. This Weak Knees Fire sauce combines the iconic Fire sauce with Bushwick Kitchen’s Weak Knees Gochujang Sriracha. According to Taco Bell, the sauce is smokey and spicy with a pop of citrus.
8. Short Rib Chile Relleno Burrito

There’s a new burrito dropping at Taco Bell with more new fillings included! The Short Rib Chile Relleno Burrito features Anaheim green chile stuffed with melted cheese and, for something exciting — a short rib beef! Enjoy this new burrito as it drops at Taco Bell locations soon.
7. Brisket Taco

If you’re looking for a taco drop, here it is. Introducing the new Brisket Taco, which features a slow-roasted brisket, shredded cheese, and purple cabbage. Every bite of a crunch or soft shell will give you the flavors of slow-roasted brisket meat, offering something different from Taco Bell’s taco menu.
6. Poutine Fries

Bored with your usual Taco Fries order? It’s time to upgrade them once the Poutine Fries drops. It features a bed of seasoned fries topped with slow-roasted pork as they’re smothered with savory gravy and some cheese curds.
5. Mexican Pizza Empanada

Want to upgrade your favorite Mexican Pizza? Catch the Mexican Pizza Empanada when it drops soon. It features everything that fans love about the Mexican Pizza like seasoned beef and three-cheese blend. The unique feature? It’s placed inside a flakey, crispy empanada.
4. Mini Taco Salad

A menu item from 1984 is making a comeback at Taco Bell. That’s right, it’s the Mini Taco Salad it bite-sized version! They went out of the menu in 2017, but luckily, the chain is bringing them back with salsa verde and lime.
3. Ube Strawberry Cookie

There’s a new dessert dropping soon at Taco Bell, and it’s none other than the Ube Strawberry Cookie. It features a crisp and chewy sugar cookie stuffed with vanilla ube cream. You can also find pieces of strawberry as cookie filling and a flurry of sprinkles.
2. Tacodilla

The Tacodilla will feature an oversized taco shell that is made from corn flour tortilla. It is filled with carne asada, melted cheese, and guajillo pepper sauce, all grilled to perfection. This menu item is inspired by Mexican street food, which makes it a lot better.
1. Salted Caramel & Toffee Cream Empanada Bites

More dessert options are filling in Taco Bell’s dessert menu and this time, they came in empanada bites. This treat is a twist on the Caramel Apple Empanada as it features salted caramel and some toffee cream. Truly, a sweet surprise in every bite.
