Wendy’s just released a new burger plus lemonade with a twist!
This April, we’ve got a ton of new releases up for grabs, especially since the summer season is coming up. While we’re waiting for the summer menu from our favorite fast food stops, Wendy’s is here to bring us what they’ve got!
Starting today, you can now enjoy the new Cajun Crunch Sandwich, which features seasoned chicken, Pepper Jack cheeses, and crispy onions. There’s also your typical burger filling of pickles and lettuce that are smothered in spicy mustard. You can choose to pair it with the new Tangerine Twist Lemonade, which features a blend of tangerine and tropical flavors that is made for the summer.
You can get them now at participating Wendy’s locations nationwide but for a limited time only. Get them while they’re still grilling at your nearest Wendy’s!
What’s New at Wendy’s?
There are a ton of new menu items to unpack at Wendy’s! First is the chain’s collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, featuring a kiddie meal with DC Super Heroes and Villains toys. Yup, you’ll be getting your dose of Batman, Harley Quinn, and Black Lightning through this limited-time offer made for kids and collectors.
So, on to the exciting part of how exactly you can get these toys. You just need to order a Kids’ Meal at Wendy’s from now until early June to get a filling meal together with collectible DC figures and over 18 mini figurines to collect! With each meal, you’ll get the following:
- Your choice of 4-piece chicken nuggets, hamburger, or cheeseburger
- Jr. Hot & Crispy Fries or Apple Bites
- Kid’s drink
You can get the new Wendy’s Kids’ Meal, which will be available for purchase via the chain’s website or app. Looking for super savers? Take note of this: Starting April 14, 2025, you can receive a free Wendy’s Kids Meal when you purchase your premium combo meal via the app or website.
Make sure to leave room for dessert, as Wendy’s is upgrading everyone’s favorite Frosty treats. It isn’t just your usual Frosty since this one’s got syrups and toppings all mashed together in different flavors to create your Frosty combination. With this, Wendy’s is introducing two ways where you can enjoy your Frosty: Frosty Swirl or Frosty Fusion.
The Frosty Swirl features is now available nationwide starting today. Check out the flavors that go along with it:
- Strawberry Frosty Swirl – A velvet Frosty treat with a strawberry-flavored base that is blended together with strawberry sauce.
- Caramel Frosty Swirl – This Frosty flavor features caramel ribbons that are layered over Frosty, which tastes like caramel candy.
- Brownie Batter Frosty Swirl – Looking for a choco-flavored one? This chocolate-flavored Frosty might satisfy your cravings together with its blended brownie batter.
But wait, that’s not all of the upgraded Frosty treats, as on May 12, 2025, Wendy’s will be adding a few more flavors from the Frosty Fusion. It will feature a sauce and topping that will be called mix-ins for an even better Frosty experience. The Frosty Fusion will include popular snacks like mix-in toppers like Oreos and Pop-Tarts as mix-in toppers.
Here are the Frosty Fusion flavors available:
- Pop-Tarts Strawberry Frosty Fusion – A Pop-Tarts ice cream? Yup, only Frosty does that! It is made out of strawberry sauce mixed with chunks of Pop-Tarts Crunchy Poppers in strawberry flavor.
- Oreo Brownie Frosty Fusion – This treat features a Frosty base with chocolate Brownie Batter sauce plus Oreo cookie pieces crunched over the Frosty treat.
- Caramel Crunch Frosty Fusion – An upgraded Caramel Frosty swirl, anyone? This treat features a classic Frosty base blended with crunch from toffee pieces and caramel sauce.

Summer Menu Sneak Peek
The air is getting even warmer, which indicates that summer is just around the corner! Different fast food restaurants have unveiled what they’ve got for the summer. Let’s take a peek at the summer flavors of coolers and waffles that your favorite chains have to offer:
- Little Caesars – Just like Taco Bell’s Baja Blast, Little Caesars teamed up with Mountain Dew to create the exclusive Mountain Dew Mango Rush Dew that will be rolling out on April 5. It features a taste of mango-sweet heat flavor in 16 oz cans.
- Sonic – There’s a new cooler at Sonic, and since it’s the season of strawberries this summer, Sonic is creating a creamy drink for fans. Say hello to the Berries and Cream drink that features a blackberry and raspberry blend syrup with layered strawberries. There’s also sweet cream added, plus a fizzy Sprite drink.
- Waffle House – Craving for waffles? Waffle House’s new Strawberry Shortcake Waffle features a strawberry waffle base that is topped with strawberry shortcake crunch. You can get them at any time of the day, as they’ve been available on the Waffle House menu since April 15.
How About Red Robin’s Summer Menu?
Starting April 27, 2025, you can spend your dinner at Red Robin as they unveil their summer seasonal items that guests can enjoy throughout the season. Availability in Red Robin’s Canada begins on June 9, 2025. Check out the summer lineup:
- Backyard BBQ Pork Burger – This burger is reminiscent of summer backyard BBQ, filled with hickory-smoked pulled pork, hardwood-smoked bacon, BBQ sauce, cheddar, and crispy onion straws. The burger is served with your choice of bottomless side.
- Backyard BBQ Pork Nachos – BBQ on nachos? Yup, Red Robin’s Yukon Chips will get an exciting new upgrade. It features a hickory-smoked pulled pork and is drizzled with B*er Cheese Bacon Fondue, BBQ sauce, and ranch, which is topped with jalapeños.
- Peach-Berry Freckled Lemonade – Pair your BBQ meal with a summer cooler made with Minute Maid Lemonade. It also features peach purée, diced peaches, and strawberries.
- Peaches & Cream Milkshake – Can’t get enough of peaches? It features a handspun vanilla soft serve with peach purée and diced peaches added to the milkshake. It is finished off with whipped cream and peach gummy rings.

A Cajun Crunch Sandwich from Wendy’s? Are you kidding me? I would love to have that burger for dinner or maybe as a work lunch. I’m not a fan of lemonade and tangerine combinations, so I don’t know what to feel about the Tangerine Twist Lemonade. Maybe I can replace it with Frosty?
