Looking for more summer coolers? It’s a good thing that Wendy’s has just released a sour but refreshing new addition to their beverages!
Just a year after the first three POWERADE Xtra Sour flavors dropped, the popular sports drink is making an entrance at fast food chain Wendy’s. They’re back with three new flavors in their lineup: Sour Cherry Kicker, Grape Shocker, and Peach Pucker.
Let’s check out the description for each new flavor:
- Cherry Kicker – This flavor was inspired by ripe cherries with a tart punch that will keep you going throughout the day.
- Grape Shocker – Like its flavor name, the Grape Shocker features an “intense and juicy” grape flavor with a one-of-a-kind sourness mixed into the drink.
- Peach Pucker – Featuring some peachy goodness, this flavor is said to be “crisp and tangy” with a “mouthwatering burst of sour.” Yes, better expect it to have a unique sourness as it mixes with the sweetness of its peach flavoring.
According to our news scoop, they will be available with a sugar-free version as they will be poured in Coca-Cola Freestyle Machines at Wendy’s. You can now get them at your nearest Wendy’s locations, together with really good burgers to power up your day.

For instance, we know Frosty to be one of their dessert classics that has been on the menu for as long as we can remember. Just this year, they’ve thought of a fantastic way to put a creative twist on the treat: the Frosty Swirls and Fusions.
The Frosty Swirls allow you to customize your Frosty with sweet sauce. Flavors include strawberry, caramel, and brownie batter. Meanwhile, the chain just launched the Frosty Fusions, which is a mix-in of your favorite snacks plus the sauce. Choose from the options of Pop-Tarts Strawberry, OREO Brownie, and Caramel Crunch.
Last April, Wendy’s also introduced the Cajun Crunch Spicy Chicken Sandwich, which is the chain’s newest spicy option. According to Wendy’s, they wanted to build on the legacy of their classic Spicy Chicken Sandwich by adding in a twist. It features a spicy chicken filet that is layered with pepper jack cheese, pickles, cajun-spiced crispy onions, and lettuce, all smothered in spicy mustard.

Save Room For Dessert
While we’ve got a complete meal over here, thanks to Wendy’s, you might want another dessert option. Well, Nothing Bundt Cakes just released their S’mores made with HERSHEY’S flavor, and they’re available to get until July 13, 2025! It features a chocolate cake base baked with HERSHEY’S milk chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, and graham cracker crumbs. It’s also drizzled with silky chocolate sauce and topped with buttery graham streusel.

Well, at least there’s a new drink that I can choose from Wendy’s soon, but weirdly, I can’t seem to see the drink pairing with my burger.
