And that’s because, they’re releasing bold flavor upgrades and creative mashups that are straight up fire! 🔥For some of the chains, we mean that literally. Panda Express and Wendy’s, for instance, have new menu items that are sure to heat things up. Meanwhile, Cold Stone Creamery is to the rescue when you’re ready to add a sweet, indulgent finish to a spicy meal. Cold Stone Creamery’s Birthday Cake OREO and The Better Nutter Butter
What’s hotter than spicy new fast food items? Sometimes, it’s the weather. So the next time you’re feeling frustrated with the sweltering heat, turn to the nearest Cold Stone Creamery. Although you might want to run to the store ASAP because they just dropped new limited-time creations: Birthday Cake OREO and The Better Nutter Butter!
Now’s the perfect time celebrate summer early with an indulgent frozen treat. Here’s what to expect from the new creations at Cold Stone Creamery:
- Birthday Cake OREO – This creation features Birthday Cake OREO ice cream, mixed with Birthday Cake OREO cookies, rainbow sprinkles, and OREO cookie frosting.
- The Better Nutter Butter – For the perfect blend of sweet and salty, don’t miss this treat made with Nutter Butter ice cream, Nutter Butter cookies, and sugar crystals, with delicious fudge swirls.
Also new at Cold Stone Creamery is the Mangonada Sunrise creation, which features Mangonada ice cream, mango boba, pineapple, and TajÃn®. There’s also another variation of this, the Mangonada Shake-up, made with Mangonada ice cream and mango boba, finished with whipped topping and a sprinkle of TajÃn®.
Panda Express’ New Chili Crisp Chicken
Now, let’s talk about something fiery. Over at Panda Express, things are heating up as the brand launches its own spin on a classic Sichuan-inspired dish. Say hello to the new Chili Crisp Chicken, made with Mike’s Hot Honey! This new limited-time offer will be available at participating Panda Express locations in Atlanta, Albuquerque, Chicago, Houston, Santa Fe, and Las Vegas.
Per the brand, the Chili Crisp Chicken is inspired by the popular Chongqing chicken, also known as dry chili chicken or firecracker chicken. Panda Express’ Chili Crisp Chicken is made with crispy and crunchy chicken wok-tossed with dried chilis, onions, and green bell peppers. The dish is finished with a spicy chili garlic sauce infused with Chinese spices and a drizzle of Mike’s Hot Honey.
If you’re up for a challenge, you can take the spiciness of this dish to the next level. Just purchase a packet of Mike’s Hot Honey Extra Hot for 95 cents, available exclusively in-store. Again, the new Chili Crisp Chicken is now up for grabs for a limited time only, through July 15, 2025 or while supplies last.
Wendy’s Upcoming Takis Fuego Meal
After releasing fresh new ways to frosty, Wendy’s is now unleashing the heat, fuego style. Talk about the duality of this fast food chain! 😂 Kidding aside, Wendy’s is speculated to drop the new Takis Fuego Meal, consisting of the Fuego Chicken Sandwich and Fuego Fries.
According to the reports circulating online, the Fuego Chicken Sandwich is made with spicy chicken fillet with chili lime and cheddar cheese sauce, layered with crushed Takis Fuego chips and a corn spread. All these are served on a toasty bun. Meanwhile, the Fuego Fries features Wendy’s natural cut fries with chili lime seasoning. Both the new menu items are expected to be released nationwide in late June. Looks like summer is about to get fiery over at Wendy’s! 🥵

The brand claims that this new offering will transport you to sun-drenched orchards. Fans of spicy food, rejoice! Two of the biggest names in fast food—Panda Express and Wendy’s—will make your next meal a fiery hit. Both new releases have their own way of bringing the heat (and crunch), so I would say those two are worth trying out. Since I’m not much of a spicy food fan, I’m looking into getting Cold Stone Creamery‘s latest creations. The Better Nutter Butter is on top of my list!
