Why Crumbl's Latest Creation is the Talk of the Town!

Crumbl seems to be a cookie provider that wants to do everything. At least, that’s what fans have noticed with the release of the brand’s new Cookie Pops, aka Crumbl’s take on the cake pop.

Crumbl is now testing this new product in select stores across the country. The treats are described to have a vanilla bean cookie interior instead of the normal balled-up cake that we’re all familiar with. The brand sells these in packs of two, however, the price is yet to be widely revealed.

If you’re trying to imagine how Crumbl’s Cookie Pops might compare to a regular cake pop, this is what you can expect in a nut shell: vanilla bean cookies, rolled up and covered in pink and white melted chocolate with an extra drizzling of the white coating to top it off.

If you’re already a fan of cake pops, then these might be worth a try. And while there are mixed reactions around this new treat, people are definitely leaning more towards the excitement of trying this new cookie hybrid from Crumbl.

What People are Saying About Crumbl’s Cookie Pops

While a good and clever twist on a classic dessert is always welcomed, the online conversations around this new release from Crumbl seem to be a mix of both enthusiasm and skepticism. Fans of the cookie brand are concerned that they might be better off getting the full-sized cookies instead of two Cookie Pops a pack, considering that the regular Crumbl cookies would appear to be better value for their money.

Some are even making guesses of how much the Cookie Pops might cost since the price of a two-pack is not widely known yet. Nevertheless, the majority does seem to express more interest than doubt, even hoping that the roll-out of the Cookie Pops would be another hit from Crumbl.

What Would Make A Good Cookie Pop?

Since the Cookie Pops from Crumbl are essentially the brand’s take on the classic cake pop, let’s talk about how this new treat might check all the boxes for both cookie and cake pop enthusiasts.

Cake pops are treats that are made with cake that has been crumbled apart, mixed with icing, smooshed, balled-up, and stuck with sticks. They are then dipped in some melted chocolate to give it that sweet shell coating. They can also either be garnished with sprinkles or even just by drizzling more of the melted chocolate on top. So, to take this familiar dessert and essentially create a cookie frankenstein with it, we can see why Crumbl is still testing the idea out before rolling it out as an official addition to the brand’s product lineup.

Cake Pops
Cake pops are bite-sized treats on a stick perfect for parties or as a snack.

Besides the fact that cake pops are adorable little treats that you can gobble up in one bite, cake pops are the hit dessert that they are because of their always-moist quality thanks to the icing that’s been incorporated into the crumbled-up cake prior to its balling-up process. So, for Crumbl’s Cookie Pops to impress, it would need to carry that same moist quality that everyone loves about cake pops.

Crumbl’s Cookie Pops are made with a vanilla bean cookie, which is probably crumbled up and mixed with icing to hold its round shape just like cake pops. But considering how the texture of cookies is very different from cake, the eating experience could be something that might surprise Crumbl fans who are eager to taste this new offer from the brand.

From The Club

It was interesting writing about this new Crumbl release since I’m a self-taught baker who happen to have a fascination with hybrid pastries. I just love the idea of taking two different classic dishes and creating something that marries the best parts of both dishes, ultimately making something that’s on a whole new level. So, I’m curious to see just how the new Crumbl Cookie Pops might WOW me.
