Wingstop takes Game Day to another level with a new sweet flavor.
Are you prepping up for game day? Let Wingstop assist you with a new delicious barbecue flavor that is perfect as you cheer on your team. Whether you’re tailgating or watching from home, this new sweet flavor will bring the ultimate game day experience to your plate.

Barbecue is a key flavor in American cuisine, but it sometimes lacks variety, as it sometimes tastes like it’s one-dimensional or regional. Wingstop is changing that with their new limited-time flavor, Sweet BBQ Blaze, set to launch on Monday, August 26, 2024.
Sweet BBQ Blaze takes a new flavor appeal by combining a sweet and smoky Kansas City-style BBQ wet sauce with a seasoned dry rub, which is inspired by Nashville flavors. This new blend shares a promise to drift away from the common BBQ norms, and will offer a delightful mix of flavors that barbecue fans will appreciate.
This new flavor arrives just in time for the much-awaited football season, letting fans enhance their game day spreads. Whether you prefer boneless wings, classic wings, sandwiches, or tenders, Wingstop is ready to serve at your home gatherings or tailgate parties.
For more information about Wingstop’s menu and flavor lineup, you may visit their official website or follow their social media accounts in Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter).

A Look Into Wingstop’s Chicken Wing Flavors
Wingstop is undeniably one of the reigning authorities in the chicken wing department, and they have all the right to command the category as they carry one of the best chicken wing flavor lineups.
This year, Wingstop hasn’t put on the brakes and still continues to serve bold flavors that continuously get a thumbs up from their customers. Let’s take a step back and review what were the flavors that Wingstop has delighted us with.
Wingstop’s Hot Honey Rub
Last July, Wingstop has made the decision to add their popular Hot Honey Rub flavor, a sweet and fiery dry rub, as a permanent part of their menu. This decision came after a big support was shown by fans, celebrities, and athletes, including basketball star Giannis Antetokounmpo. Over the years, this fan favorite has appeared on Wingstop’s menu three times already since 2022, and it even returned last Valentine’s Day signaling the last time since we’ve tasted this baddie. The Hot Honey Rub flavor was also ranked as a top performer, especially for chicken sandwiches. That means Wingstop’s decision to permanent add it to the menu is a big win for all of us.

Other Wingstop Fan Favorite Flavors
Aside from Hot Honey Rub being the star of summer, Wingstop also carries a lot of fan-favorite flavors that are worth checking out. Get your forks ready and let’s dive into each flavor:

- Atomic: The hottest chicken flavor that Wingstop has. If you’re a spice lover, you can find out if you can take on this flavor yourself.
- Cajun: Tossed in original hot, dusted with bold and zesty Cajun seasoning.
- Hickory Smoked BBQ: Bold. Smoky. Sweet. Rich. It’s everything you love about BBQ, but better.
- Lemon Pepper: Zesty lemon. Cracked black pepper. This dry rub is the ultimate gateway flavor.
- Louisana Rub: A crispy, spiced dry rub, with a distinctly Cajun drawl.
- Mango Habanero: It’s got sweetness and heat. And then some. Seriously.
- Mild: That O.G. hot, turned down a notch.
- Original Hot: The first sauce that Wingstop has tossed. Full of heat and tang. It’s called original for a reason.
- Spicy Korean Q: Features ginger, garlic, sriracha, and crushed red pepper to create the perfect balance of sweet and spicy.

From The Club
I’m not really a fan of strong BBQ flavors but I think I’ll immediately love Wingstop’s new Sweet BBQ Blaze. Its blend of sweet and smoky Kansas-style BBQ sauce intrigues me so much, as the Kansas’ BBQ sauce hasn’t landed on my taste radar before. Also, it’s a good thing it arrives on the last week before we greet the fall season, which is just the perfect time for a last-minute BBQ taste-test, even if it’s on chicken wings!
