Having a bleak winter day? Try these new holiday menu items that celebrate the festive season and will have you cozying up, probably all day long.
When you don’t feel like creating kitchen magic during the holiday, you can always stop by a restaurant and order some of their most comforting dishes. We’re not just talking about any restaurants, though. You’d want to check out those with limited-time holiday menu items because, for sure, there’s something extra special about them. Don’t believe us? Just look at these fast food brands with holiday offerings worth adding to your nice list.
Broken Yolk Cafe

The Southern California favorite for breakfast, lunch, and brunch, Broken Yolk Cafe, unveils new cozy winter flavors to celebrate the season. These include the Carrot Cake Waffles and Snickerdoodle Latte—definitely a must-have if you want to take a break from those peppermint and hot cocoa-flavored offerings. According to the restaurant brand these two new items would be great options for a midday indulgence or hearty holiday breakfast.
The Carrot Waffle Cake is made with a cinnamon-infused cake batter with raisins and shredded carrots. It’s topped with powdered sugar, cream cheese icing, and candied pecans, evoking the season’s festive spirit. Meanwhile, the Snickerdoodle Latte is an espresso-based seasonal sip, flavored with cinnamon bun and cookie butter syrup, milk, vanilla cream, and a little bit of cinnamon sugar. The Snickerdoodle Latte is available hot or iced, and it’s looking like a nice drink to have to welcome the cookie season.
As per Broken Yolk Cafe, these two new winter menu items will be up for grabs beginning December 2, 2024, available for a limited time only.
Chick-fil-A

Meanwhile, at Chick-fil-A, the game season is still on. If you’re planning to watching college football this coming weekend or the next, then you’ll love the fast food chain’s latest offering. Say hello to Chick-fil-A’s football-shaped trays! This could be the game day companion you’ve been looking for—shareable and mess-free. The trays can include either 30 pieces of chicken nuggets or 10 pieces of chicken minis. For those who aren’t familiar, the chicken minis are bite-size nuggets sandwiched in mini yeast rolls. For extra flavor, the rolls are brushed with a honey butter spread.
And while we’re still talking about Chick-fil-A’s holiday offerings, it’s also worth mentioning that the chain has a new seasonal sip! We love the Banana Pudding Milkshake, so we think this new drink would meet expectations, too! Introducing: Chick-fil-A’s Peppermint Chip Milkshake! This dessert is created the traditional way, hand-spun with chips of peppermint bark. It also uses Chick-fil-A’s iconic Icedream dessert, finished with whipped topping and a cherry.
Taco Bell

Back in October, Taco Bell announced the arrival of its Decades Menu, which includes its most iconic offerings in the last 60 years. Among the items returning are the crowd-favorite from 2000s: Caramel Apple Empanada. Fans and new guests can enjoy this golden and crispy empanada with warm apple pieces and caramel-infused filling that’s oh so creamy. This returning sweet treat is now available at participating Taco Bell locations, priced at $2.99. Do note that price may vary by location.
If you’re curious about the other menu items included in Taco Bell’s Decades Menu, here’s a quick refresher:
- 60s – Tostada, a corn tostada shell filled with cheese, lettuce, refried beans, and tangy red sauce.
- 70s – Green Sauce Burrito, an edgy item packed with cheese, refried beans, onions, and spicy green sauce.
- 80s – Meximelt, a tortilla with three-cheese blend, seasoned beef, and pico de gallo.
- 90s – Gordita Supreme, a flatbread with seasoned beef, three-cheese blend, lettuce, tomatoes, and reduced-fat sour cream.
This holiday season, there’s another good news from Taco Bell. If you’re looking to give the gift of a delicious taco, consider getting Taco Bell gift cards! When you do, you’ll get a $10 eGift Card for every $50 spent in Gift Card on Taco Bell app or web.

From The Club
Looks like every day of this holiday season is made extra special with new winter menu releases from different fast food chains. Broken Yolk Cafe’s Carrot Cake Waffle would be a great match to Snickerdoodle Latte (hot), and just thinking about this pairing already gives me comfort. I swear I’m gonna get those before Christmas time! Taco Bell’s Caramel Apple Empanada wasn’t really a surprise as I’ve known for a while that the chain is bringing it back. But still, it’s definitely a must-try. And Chick-fil-A’s football trays? They should complete my game day spread next week!
