You’ve waited for this for a long time, and now they’re finally dropping at McDonald’s!
Yup, that’s right. Starting July 10, 2025, the Snack Wrap returns to participating restaurants nationwide, and this time, they’re here to stay. McDonald’s fans have spent years rallying to bring them back, and now, they’re returning in two flavors:

- Spicy Snack Wrap – Features a bold, zesty (unapologetically fiery) wrap you’ll love. McDonald’s Spicy Snack Wrap brings in the heat with a habanero kick that fans know and love from the iconic Spicy McCrispy sandwich.
- Ranch Snack Wrap – The flavor profile for this particular wrap speaks of “smooth, rich, and irresistibly savory.” Their Ranch Snack Wrap features a burst of cool ranch flavor with hints of garlic and onion goodness.
The Snack Wraps will also be available à la carte or as a combo meal, including two Snack Wraps, medium fries, and a drink of your choice. McDonald’s also created a fan website dedicated to the Snack Wrap called Snack Wrap Files. On the website, they shared fan request emails they’ve gotten, reaction clips, behind-the-scenes, and more locked files about the new menu item hitting their location by July 10th!
What Fans Are Saying
When we say that fans have been waiting for the Snack Wrap, we’re not kidding! McDonald’s even shared some emails that fans sent them, requesting the comeback of the Snack Wrap. One fan named Jeremy shared that Snack Wraps were an essential food item from his youth, and that he would be overjoyed if they returned to the menus. He even requested the wraps to be gluten-free since his sister has celiac, and she could no longer enjoy the common foods that they used to eat growing up.
But it isn’t just childhood memories wrapped in McDonald’s Snack Wrap; it’s also the cravings, just like Carli, one of the fans who sent an email to McDonald’s. She learned of the Snack Wrap coming back, which she has always dreamed of. She was 13 weeks pregnant in January, and Snack Wraps, her biggest cravings, were something she couldn’t have. Carli is due on July 14th, and it’s good that she can finally have them before then.
Another fan named “McLover” shared a humorous email saying they’re feeling very angry. If McDonald’s won’t bring the Snack Wrap back, McLover jokingly threatened the brand by saying that they would unleash the “McAngry” spirits at the play places to haunt the “McChildren.” Well, the emails sent by fans are proof of how they’ve long waited for the comeback of the Snack Wraps since McDonald’s teased it.

Is This The Start of the Wrap Wars?

You may have heard that Popeyes released their version of Snack Wraps yesterday (June 2, 2025) called Chicken Wraps. And it’s everything that Snack Wraps are! Some jokingly speculated that Popeyes is coming for McDonald’s as they consist of the same filling: chicken tenders, lettuce, cheese, and sauce, all wrapped in a tortilla. But still, don’t let it stop you from trying out both of them since they are from two different chains.
In Popeyes’ version, they differ in terms of taste from the hand-breaded and battered chicken fingers, and an addition of crunchy pickles. You also have a choice of Classic, Spicy, or Honey Mustard when it comes to the Chicken Wraps. The wraps used for the new menu item are also created from their famous biscuits.
But that’s not everything new at Popeyes. Yesterday, the chain also released their Blueberry Lemonade and Tea beverage lineup just in time for summer. If you remember the viral Pickle Lemonade, the lineup is built from the exact hype! The lineup includes the Blueberry Lemonade (Chilled or Frozen), Blueberry Cane Sweet Tea, and Blueberry Unsweet Tea.
What’s New at McDonald’s?

S’mores McFlurry has long been a part of McDonald’s menus in Canada, and now, they’re finally bringing them back in the U.S.! According to news that we’ve caught online, the S’mores McFlurry will feature a vanilla soft serve base that is blended with mini marshmallows, graham crackers, and pieces of HERSHEY’S Milk Chocolate bits, just like how you enjoy your campfire s’mores! While they haven’t been officially confirmed by the brand yet, we’ve heard their availability would be nationwide by June 10, 2025.

Also, participating McDonald’s locations are now offering the McCrispy Strips as a permanent part of the menu. What’s great about it is that they’re the first ever permanent menu item released in about four years. You can order them in three to four pieces as they feature 100% white meat that is breaded with a black pepper flavor.
The McCrispy Strips also come with a Creamy Chili Dip sauce, which has savory, sweet, and tangy flavors. When you get three pieces of McCrispy Strips, you will be served with one tub of the Creamy Chili Dip. At the same time, four pieces will give you two tubs of the sauce. The strips and the sauce arrived on the menu as McDonald’s saw the huge demand for chicken strips.
More Beverage Offerings at McDonald’s Soon
If you remember, last December 2023, McDonald’s debuted their beverage spin-off CosMc. Now, the fast food chain saw a big opportunity approaching in the beverage market, with an estimated $100 billion worth.
What does it mean for both McDonald’s and CosMc? Well, McDonald’s will soon test out CosMc drinks in their locations. If you’re from Texas or Illinois, this news won’t surprise you since they’ve been testing CosMc spinoff drinks at some locations. While the brand has been testing them out, they learned two things: Customers love drink customizations on pre-designed beverages, and they prefer to have food with drinks.
Check out the following drinks that may make it a test item at select McDonald’s stores:
- Popping Pear Slush
- Sprite Moonsplash
- Tropical Spiceade
- Blueberry Ginger Boost
- Iced Churro Latte
- Iced French Toast Galaxy Latte

From The Club
McDonald’s is splashing up this year with plans to attract fans further! But I can’t help but laugh at the release of the two wraps, both from McDonald’s and Popeyes. I, too, can’t help but wonder if Popeyes is coming after McDonald’s. Is there a Chicken Wrap war that I need to watch out for? But I hope that fans would give each wrapped offering a chance, as I believe they differ in their chicken taste and sauce.
