For anyone who loves a good sub, you probably have a special sandwich that’s your number one pick. Whether it’s a custom sub made “Mike’s Way” at Jersey Mike’s, a simple turkey and mustard sandwich at Subway, or a fan-favorite Hook & Ladder from Firehouse Subs, sandwiches are personal. Just as important as the sandwich itself is what you choose to pair with it. And while Subway has its share of sweet options, many of us prefer a savory snack like a crunchy bag of chips on the side.

Interestingly, Jersey Mike’s, Firehouse Subs, and Subway all have something in common: they sell the same brands of chips by partnering with Frito-Lay. This means they offer popular choices like Lay’s, Doritos, SunChips, Fritos, and Miss Vickie’s at their locations. For many, a trip to these sub shops is the only chance to savor Miss Vickie’s kettle-cooked potato chips, because until recently, you couldn’t find them in grocery stores – they were exclusive to sandwich shops.

Big news for chip lovers, though: Miss Vickie’s chips are now available in grocery stores across the country for the first time since their start in 1987. No more stocking up at Jersey Mike’s because now you can find them at major retailers like Amazon, Sam’s Club, Walmart, and Kroger. While not every flavor found at the sub shops will be on grocery shelves, you will find five popular ones: Applewood Smoked BBQ, Honey Mustard, Jalapeño, Sour Cream Herb & Onion, and Sea Salt. We’re hoping to see more variety soon, including Sea Salt & Vinegar and Spicy Dill Pickle.

Miss Vickie’s crispy chips come in the regular eight-ounce bags as well as larger 22-ounce sizes for bulk stores. They’ve already started showing up in stores, so keep an eye out next time you shop. Now you can enjoy these delicious chips with sandwiches or any meal at home, just like Miss Vickie first imagined.
