Get your spoons ready as Zaxby’s released not just one but two new additional desserts in a jar. Introducing the Banana Pudding and Brownie Jar Desserts, available for a limited time only at select Zaxby’s stores.
The Banana Pudding Jar Dessert features layers of stacked banana pudding, vanilla wafers, and whipped cream on top. But if you’re craving a chocolatey treat, you can order the Brownie Jar Dessert, made of brownie bites layered on chocolate-flavored pudding — indeed, a death by chocolate! Each jar is priced at $5.99 and is only available while supplies last.
I know that we’re all excited to taste these desserts in a jar, but sadly, the Banana Pudding is only available in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina. Both dessert options are available in Augusta, Georgia.

Another Banana Pudding Release
Earlier this year, fast food restaurant Chick-fil-A was rumored to release a similar treat in Fall 2024. Streets says that they will release three varieties of banana pudding treats: Frosted Coffee, Banana Pudding Shake, and Banana Pudding Dessert, but this news is yet to be confirmed by the restaurant.
If you remember, Chick-fil-A has already released a limited-time test product of its banana pudding in selected Georgia stores.
Chick-fil-A’s banana pudding is enough to make dessert fans excited as it includes actual pieces of banana, Nilla wafer, and whipped cream. If it is making a comeback in the fall, we’re here for it!
What Fans Are Saying
Fans were thrilled upon hearing the news that Zaxby’s had released their pudding desserts in a jar. The banana pudding met mostly positive reviews on TikTok, while the brownie pudding is not known by many since it’s only available at one location.
However, some customers called out Zaxby’s since, according to them, the jars that come with the dessert look like a mayonnaise jar with its blue cup. While some comments may have agreed, others came to Zaxby’s defense, saying that it doesn’t look that bad and at least they have a jar to keep at home.

From The Club
I like my pudding cold, creamy, and milky. From the looks of Zaxby’s pudding, it pretty much met my criteria, so save me some of those! I’m excited to try the Banana Pudding Jar since it’s the typical pudding flavor I get from restaurants and bakeries. As for the Brownie Jar Dessert, I admit I’m not fond of the flavor since I do not like chocolate over chocolate desserts. But who knows, maybe I’ll love it when I try the chocolatey dessert. Until then, I might have to cross my fingers that they would release the pudding jar desserts at my nearest Zaxby’s store.
