This summer, Zaxby’s introduces their mix-and-match late-night menu item called the Zappetizer Trio. They’re available to get at $9.99 at participating Zaxby’s locations. This meal deal features a Zappetizer Trio of your choice with three sides or shareables. This includes favorites like Fried Pickles with White Cheddar Bites and Veggie Egg Rolls! And get this, participating Zaxby’s restaurants will stay open until later to give fans extra time to munch on their Zappetizers.
There are also other options like Boneless Wings that are paired with Sweet & Spicy sauce and crinkle fries that are drenched in Ranch. For a sweet ending, you can also have the Fried Cheesecake Bites waiting for you as you chomp down the menu. The price of $9.99 already includes the three signature sauces that come with your meal to dip your appetizers into.
As the chain continues to roll out their summer finds, there are also new menu items like their Giant Chicken Quesadillas, which were introduced earlier this summer. It features two bold varieties of Chicken Bacon Ranch and Chicken Fajita that are packed with their signature Chicken Fingerz. They also serve some creamy Ranch that goes along with every order.
What’s New at Zaxby’s This Year?
So far, Zaxby’s has released a couple of new menu items. Just last month, Zaxby’s celebrated their 35th anniversary as they re-released their fan-favorite Handcrafted Milkshakes to pair with their chicken meals. Each Handcrafted Milkshake will take you on a trip down memory lane with the release of their classic flavors of Vanilla, Strawberry, and Chocolate. They’re handspun and topped with whipped cream plus colorful sprinkles. The milkshakes are then finished up with a Maraschino cherry, just like a typical 50s diner milkshake.
And since we’re talking about the 35th anniversary, Zaxby’s also added the Birthday Cake flavor, which features flavors of a baked cake base, buttercream, and French vanilla, as the treat is also called a cake in a cup. The Handcrafted Milkshake starts with a suggested price of $4.99 for a 20-ounce size.
During the Lent season, Zaxby’s also offered seafood specials for a limited time, and it’s called the ZaxSeas lineup as the chain once again welcomes the return of the Southern Fried Shrimp. Its flavor profile features garlic and onion powder that are seasoned with pepper and soaked in buttermilk as they’re fried to perfection. The lineup includes the following:
- ZaxSeas Surf & Turf Meal – Features eight pieces of delectable Southern Fried Shrimp and Zaxtail sauce. Their meal is served together with three pieces of Chicken Fingerz, Zax sauce, crinkle fries, and Texas Toast.
- Buffalo Shrimp – Eight pieces of Southern Fried Shrimp that are tossed in Buffalo Garlic Blaze. There’s also a Ranch sauce that you can use for dipping.
- Asian Zensation Salad with Southern Fried Shrimp – Features a mix of greens, wonton strips, carrots, and some Asian slaw before they’re drizzled with honey sesame teriyaki sauce. They’re paired with Citrus Vinaigrette and Texas Toast,
- Southern Fried Shrimp Meal – Includes eight pieces of Southern Fried Shrimp with Zaxtail sauce for dipping. Since this is a meal, the shrimp is paired with crinkle fries, Texas Toast, and a small drink.

Catch National Doughnut Day Tomorrow
National Doughnut Day is happening tomorrow (June 6, 2025). Have you stacked your deals yet? If you’re up to celebrate the food holiday, then here are some deals to watch out for. First up, Krispy Kreme will be celebrating by offering guests any doughnut for free. Nope, there’s no catch at all like a required purchase. Also, you can get a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts for just $2 by purchasing a dozen at a regular price.
However, if you’re missing National Doughnut Day for some reason, you don’t need to worry as Krispy Kreme will offer their 14 Days of Original Glazed doughnuts, which will run until the first day of summer on June 20. Throughout the 14 days, Krispy Kreme Rewards members can get a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts priced at just $9.99. There will be a limit of one guest per day, so you would need to sign up on this page. Also, check out the other promo deals available:
- June 13 – All guests can take home a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts for only 13 cents with a purchase of any dozen at their original price.
- June 20 – For the first day of summer, Krispy Kreme will be selecting lucky fans who will get to win a year’s supply of free Original Glazed doughnuts. The great news is that multiple guests will be selected from each participating location. Yup, they’ll be getting one dozen per month from July 2025 to June 2026.
But Krispy Kreme isn’t the only doughnut chain celebrating the special holiday. One of America’s favorite doughnut stops, Dunkin’, is celebrating the special day by offering a free donut of your choice with a beverage purchase. This is a major milestone for the brand as they celebrate 15 years of free donuts for National Doughnut Day.
