BBQ on burgers is no new concept in the fast food industry. Almost all of them have incorporated BBQ sauce smothered in different kinds of meat as a burger or sandwich filling. It’s all in the matter of the BBQ taste, flavor blend, and quality of the meats.
Also, who doesn’t love BBQ? The sweet, savory, and sometimes spicy taste of it is enough to complete a meal. Can you imagine matching it with a shake? That’s some diner-style meal we got there! And if you’re craving a good BBQ sandwich and shake, today is your lucky day, as Arby’s just dropped a meal for you.
Get your grill on, as Arby’s just introduced the following limited-time food menu items to grace their lineup:

- Bourbon BBQ Brisket Sandwich – Features a sliced beef brisket, brown sugar bacon, melted cheddar cheese, and onions, all smothered in a BBQ brisket sauce and on a toasted brioche bun.
- Bourbon BBQ Chicken Sandwich – Includes a chicken fillet topped with melted cheddar cheese and brown sugar bacon. The sandwich is also dressed with crispy onions and a bourbon BBQ sauce.
- Strawberry Shake – A blended strawberry shake served with whipped cream on top.
You also have the option to choose a sandwich meal with your choice of drinks and curly fries.
Want to grab a bite? Look for these limited-time menu items at participating Arby’s locations nationwide.
The Arby’s Name Debate
One fun fact about Arby’s is the long debate over what their brand name stands for. Some people on social media speculated that Arby’s stands for RB, the initials of the restaurant’s food specialty. While that’s one witty way of thinking, Arby’s cleared in 2015 that it stands for RB or the founders, Raffel Brothers. Mind blown? Well, at least you’ve got the RB right!
The common misconception may stem from an Arby’s commercial back in the 1980s, where Arby’s promoted their name as “America’s Roast Beef,” leading fans to shock upon learning that what they knew about their favorite restaurant was a lie. So yes, you can’t blame fans for associating their restaurant name with a loved specialty. Perhaps you can treat yourself to a brisket sandwich instead.

More Limited Time Menu To Check Out
They may be known for their briskets, but Arby’s also serves good burgers too. Along with the bourbon sandwiches and strawberry shake, Arby’s also serves a few other limited-time menu burger meals and a side for you to try out. Get them while they’re still flipping at Arby’s!
2/$6 Everyday Value
Value meals may be great, but sometimes, the food options can be pretty repetitive due to the lack of food variety. You wouldn’t have to worry about that in Arby’s with their 2/$6 Everyday Value. Imagine getting two filling menu items for just $6; that’s a win right there!
You can pick two among any of the following: Classic Roast Beef, Crispy Chicken Sandwich, or Mozzarella Sticks.

Big Cheesy Bacon Burger
Let’s go back to the basics. This huge and meaty Big Cheesy Bacon Burger features crispy bacon, American cheese, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickles, all smothered in a special burger sauce that is served in a brioche bun. You can opt for a meal by adding your choice of fountain drinks and a side of curly fries.

Deluxe Burger
If you opt for a simpler but filling burger, you can choose Arby’s Deluxe Burger. It has your usual burger filling of juicy patties, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and a special burger sauce. Again, you can choose a complete meal option with your choice of fountain drinks and a side of curly fries.

A BBQ Bourbon Sandwich? Yes, please! That’s the exact sandwich I’m dreaming of. It’s good that Arby’s serves some brisket goodness for their guests! Since their roast beef is a classic, they continued creating new meat burgers with their brand, and I can say that they’re successful in doing so, especially since people associate their brand name with roast beef. Hopefully, Arby’s will make their BBQ brisket a permanent part of the menu.
