Trolli crawled into Baskin-Robbins to give us a sweet and sour summer energy!
The candy culture is here to shake up your summer dessert routine at Baskin-Robbins. What do you think happens when a quirky gummi candy crashes the world of ice cream? Sounds like a bold brain freeze, right? The more accurate answer: we get three new frozen treats with wild swirls and gummi garnishes!
Beginning June 1, Trolli will officially wriggle its way into Baskin-Robbins. That’s because the two brands teamed up to offer a new limited-time candy-inspired lineup that lets you relive the most epic days of summer. Get ready to bite into nostalgia with Baskin-Robbin’s June Flavor of the Month, Trolli Sour Blast! This is Trolli’s first-ever ice cream collaboration, featuring sour swirls that bring back exciting childhood summer memories.
Inspired by Trolli Sour Brite Crawlers, the new ice cream flavor features Trolli lime-flavored ice cream and orange-flavored sherbet. To add more sour punch, the ice cream is finished with lime-flavored swirls. Remember grabbing candy at the store or racing bikes with your besties? You can reconnect with those moments, in a sweet and sour way, with Baskin-Robbins’ new Trolli Sour Blast.
In addition to this wild new ice cream flavor, there are two more frozen treats that will bring Trolli magic to Baskin-Robbins’ menu:
- Trolli Sour Blast Fizz – Looking for something that’s a little more adventurous? Try this new sip made with the new Trolli® Sour Blast frozen treat and STARRY Lemon-Lime soda. Enjoy the bubbly sour rush you’ll get from every sip!
- Trolli Dirt ‘n Worms Sundae – For candy-inspired chaos presented in the best way possible, look to this treat featuring chocolate ice cream, topped with hot fudge, OREO cookie pieces, plus Trolli Sour Brite Crawlers Minis on top.
According to the vice president of brand marketing & culinary for Baskin-Robbins, Nicole Boutwell, their new lineup pays homage to the bold and playful spirit of summer. It’s a sweet way to reconnect with that energy, all while creating new memories along the way, she added.
What’s New at Baskin-Robbins?
Baskin-Robbins always seem to have something new and delicious up their sleeve. Just looking at their June offerings, this brand keeps things fresh with not just one but multiple new frozen treats! It won’t come as a surprise then if Baskin-Robbins has other limited-time offerings outside of the Trolli-themed lineup. We’re talking about these crave-worthy treats:
- Strawberry Tres Leches – This is Baskin-Robbins’ May Flavor of the Month, and yes, it’s still available, but maybe not for long. It’s basically a dessert in a scoop, featuring Tres Leches Ice Cream with luscious mix-ins like strawberry pieces, white cake chunks, and strawberry swirls. Grab one before this strawberry daydream floats away!
- Lava Colada – This is a mocktail-inspired drink combining the flavors of piña colada and the fruity tang of strawberry. The result is a refreshing tropical drink, minus the alcohol.
- Non-Dairy Cookies ‘n Crème – This is another craveable offering from Baskin-Robbins, ideal for health-conscious guests or those with special dietary requirements. This is a sweet crème-flavored dessert, mixed with chocolate crème-filled cookie pieces and chocolate cookie swirls.
Also, to end the graduation season on a sweet note, Baskin-Robbins is offering Elegant Grad Cakes. You can grab one for the graduate in your life and customize the elegant floral design with their school colors and a grad cap. You can also choose your preferred cake and ice cream flavors, so you can celebrate exactly the way you like. There are also other customizable cakes on the menu fit for the grad season, including the School Spirit Cookie Cake and Turn the Tassel Cake.

Burger King’s Frozen Strawberry and NERDS
Burger King is one of the first chains to jump into the candy-crossover trend when it released the Frozen Strawberry & NERDS beverage. It’s icy, sweet, and bold, with a satisfying crunch! The drink starts with a strawberry-flavored slushie, topped with NERDS candy, which offers the iconic tangy flavor that cuts through the sweetness. Just take note that the Frozen Strawberry & NERDS beverage is available for a limited time only. So if you’re planning to try one, you better act fast!
Jack in the Box’s Sour Patch Kids Watermelon Drinks
Clearly, there’s a growing demand for frozen drinks that double as candy-coated nostalgia. Otherwise, Jack in the Box wouldn’t have thought of featuring the Sour Patch Kids flavor in their new drinks. That’s right, the fast food chain, once again, thought outside of the box and the result is a pucker-worthy mashup as seen in these four new drinks:
- Watermelon Shake – This is a creamy vanilla shake with the familiar watermelon flavors from Sour Patch Kids.
- Watermelon Twisted Soda – This is a lemon-lime soda mixed with Sour Patch Kids watermelon flavors, and then finished with whipped topping.
- Watermelon Lemonade – This combines refreshing lemonade with Sour Patch Kids watermelon flavors.
- Watermelon Slushie – This is an icy slushie featuring Sour Patch Kids watermelon flavors. As expected, the slushie is sour first, then sweet. Available in select markets, including Austin, Salt Lake City, and Phoenix.
