Publix has something really cool in store for its customers! Shoppers have spotted a returning fan favorite flavor from Blue Bell and a limited edition flavor you can only get at Publix.

Publix just became a treasure trove of delicious ice cream flavors just in time for the summer. First up is Blue Bell’s Peaches & Homemade Vanilla. Its creamy vanilla base filled with peach chunks made it an instant fan favorite when it was first released. It’s now making a comeback and you can now get this ice cream from Publix.

But it doesn’t stop there! Publix has a secret weapon of sorts among their collection of frozen treats. They have the exclusive Hula Hula Macadamia ice cream. It’s like a taste of tropical paradise with every spoon. This limited-edition will make you feel like your dancing with hula dancers and the macadamia nut chunks just add another layer of flavor.

These flavors won’t last forever though so you better get going to the nearest Publix and snag a pint before they disappear from shelves.

The Legacy of Blue Bell Creameries and Publix

Blue Bell Creameries is one of the most underrated brands of ice cream around. It’s signature taste and texture actually has a pretty fascinating history that dates back to over a hundred years ago. It all began in 1907. A group of farmers decided to make butter from excess cream. Pretty soon, they expanded and made a move into making ice cream by 1911. What started in a tiny community would become a pretty well known ice cream brand across the country. Named after a wildflower that only blossoms during the hot Texas summer months, Blue Bell is a symbol of resilience and growth. The founders’ vision of delivering the best has stood the test of time, truly living up to their famous slogan: “We eat all we can and sell the rest.”

On the other hand, you have the massive supermarket chain, Publix. It’s a name that has since been synonymous with friendly service and top quality groceries. The first Publix location opened in September 6, 1930 by George W. Jenkins in Winter Haven, Florida. He always had a passion for the grocery business and once he had the resources, decided to open his first store. Those early days, Jenkins innovated the industry and made the shopping experience at Publix unlike any other. Today, Publix stands as a supermarket giant with over 1,300 stores across the Southeast United States. It’s now a cornerstone of countless communities and a testament to Jenkins’ vision of innovation, dedication, and a focus on people.
