Did you know Chick-fil-A has an exclusive menu that they serve at one location in Georgia? Yes, you read that correctly; Georgian residents are having a fantastic summer with this exclusive menu, and I’m out here being jealous.

Chick-fil-A is not a stranger to testing new products before adding them to their nationwide menu, but this time around, Chick-fil-A isn’t testing a particular menu selection. Instead, they are offering it already, and it’s exclusively available in Georgia.

At Truett’s Luau in Fayetteville, there are two special Chick-fil-A menu items that are only sold there, and they sound incredible. If you’re around Georgia or will be going there soon, you might want to drop by and say “Aloha” to Chick-fil-A’s Luau menu, featuring items like Pineapple Chicken Tacos and Frosted Pineapple, and Pineapple Nut Milkshake.

Chick-fil-A’s Truett’s Luau location serves Hawaiian favorites with a Southern spin, this specialty menu has everything from Island Chicken Salad sandwiches, I’a Makana Tacos, to Frosted Pineapple drink, and Lava Cake

Here are some quick details to intensify your cravings even more:

  • Pineapple Chicken Tacos: Treat yourself to delicious bite-sized pieces of freshly marinated boneless breast of chicken, grilled for a tender and juicy backyard-smoky taste, placed inside a warm tortilla, and topped with freshly diced pineapple, creamy slaw, and a ginger-garlic sauce with the right amount of heat.
  • The Pineapple Nut Milkshake: Features a pineapple-flavored milkshake that has macadamia nuts blended in.

The Story Behind the Unique Chick-fil-A Luau Experience

Chick-fil-A is already a household fast food name for delicious chicken sandwiches and great customer service. And you may be surprised to know that Chick-fil-A is operating a unique location in Fayetteville, Georgia, known as Truett’s Luau. It features a Hawaiian-themed menu that is only exclusive to its customers. The origins of Truett’s Luau location can be traced back to Chick-fil-A’s founder, S. Truett Cathy, and his vision for the fast food chain to be expanded beyond traditional quick-service fast food chain.

S. Truett Cathy opened his first restaurant, The Dwarf Grill (now called The Dwarf House), in 1946 at Hapeville, Georgia. He got the idea of a Hawaiian-themed Chick-fil-A after seeing a potential market for unique, themed dining experiences. And in 2013, Truett’s Luau opened its doors, extending Cathy’s legacy by experimenting with innovative menu items inspired by the flavors of Hawaii. This special venue has become a culinary spot for locals and travelers alike. If you ever find yourself in Fayetteville, the entire experience, from decor to food, it transports you to a tropical paradise, far from your typical idea of a fast food joint.

From The Club

While this comes off as a shock to me (to be honest, I didn’t know Chick-fil-A has other locations offering non-chicken menu items), I’m more excited and jealous that Georgia has one-upped us in the Chick-fil-A game. I’m excited as I want to try these Hawaii and tropical-inspired menu especially the Pineapple Chicken Tacos but also jealous that I can’t drop by my nearest Chick-fil-A to get one if I’m craving for it. But, all’s good, driving to Truett’s Luau means I’ll enjoy a road trip and bring home Luau menu items on my way back. Don’t get me wrong, I may be jealous, but I’m stoked that Chick-fil-A brings out their creativity and are not afraid to step out of their “Eat Mor Chikin” mantra.
