Another thing to love about Thanksgiving aside from the turkey is the BBQ Brisket Meal that you’re about to snack on. Catch Checker & Rally’s new BBQ Brisket Melt that is back by popular demand! It features a 100% beef hamburger patty that is piled high with smoky beef brisket melty American cheese, all smothered in sweet but tangy BBQ sauce.
Want to hear something great? Well, they sell for $3.49, so you can get a BBQ sandwich meal enclosed in a Texas bun. It’s a BBQ experience you never knew you needed. But if you’re looking for three times more of the smoky beef brisket, then the Brisket Bosswich is here to save the day. It has the same ingredients as the BBQ Brisket Melt but with three times more brisket.

McDonald’s
It seems like we’re getting something new at McDonald’s every week, but we’re not complaining, tho! We’re all looking for a miracle when faced with challenges, and one thing is the cheaper menu options at McDonald’s! Starting January 7, 2025, McDonald’s will introduce their highly-anticipated value platform, or the McValueTM, available in different McDonald’s locations.
The McValue includes fan-favorite food deals such as the $5 Meal Deal, exclusive in-app offers, local deals, and the Buy One, Add One for $1 for popular food items during breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Joe Erlinger, President of McDonald’s USA, said that he knew that a one-size-fits-all narrative doesn’t exist when it comes to value. They’ve worked closely with their franchisees to define their own terms, and from all of the value meals they could offer, the chain is excited to visit one of their locations.
Buy One, Add One for $1
So, what’s this Buy One, Add One for $1 they’re talking about? Well, it is when customers will be able to customize their own deals, mixing and matching their favorite menu items. Here’s how the promo works: Customers will be able to buy one regular-priced menu item from the McValue menu and add one more item of their choice for only $1. Cool, right?
The McValue Breakfast includes the following:
- Sausage McMuffin
- Sausage Biscuits
- Sausage Burrito
- Hash Browns
The McValue Lunch/Dinner items include:
- 6 pc. Chicken McNuggets
- Double Cheeseburger

$5 Meal Deal and More
Now that we’re on the subject of fast food promo deals, McDonald’s has a surprise for you. The $5 Meal Deal has been officially extended until next summer as it now becomes a part of the McValue platform. In case you’re not familiar, the $5 Meal Deal consists of your choice of McDouble and McChicken Sandwich, Small fries, 4-piece Chicken McNuggets, and a small soft drink, all for just $5.
Cory Watson, McDonald’s Operator and National Value Chair for 2025, said that as a local business owner, her franchisees have always listened to what customers in their communities need. No matter which city or state they live in, the customers always talk about how important it is for them to get their favorite meals at an affordable price. This is why McDonald’s has been committed to serving great local deals.
