IHOP’s Scary Surprise
If you’re a fan of IHOP, then you’re probably one of those who anticipates their monthly limited-time pancake releases called Pancake of the Month. It is a new way for guests to enjoy the chain’s specialty pancakes by combining them with flavors to enjoy them in different ways. Pancake of the Month started last February 2024, when they unveiled the Valentine’s special of Chocolate Strawberry Pancakes.
In case you haven’t tried them before, they feature four pieces of stacked chocolate chip pancakes with cheesecake mousse. It is drizzled with chocolate sauce and topped with fresh strawberries, whipped cream, and even more chocolate chips.
Since then, IHOP has followed the same deal, releasing a new pancake flavor every month. Through this, IHOP introduced an incentive to fans with a new loyalty challenge:
- If they order the Pancake of the Month two or more times in a month, they will earn 10 PanCoins that will go straight into their loyalty program perks.
- Ordering the Pancake of the Month once every month for the entire year is equivalent to 100 bonus PanCoins.
