May might be ending soon, but the new releases continue to pour in just in time for summer! First up, we’re bringing in Crumbl’s flavor lineup for the week with exciting comebacks plus a cookie flavor in collaboration with Reese’s Pieces! Next, we’ve got new treats from Cheba Hut and a new launch from Sonic. You’ll never run out of releases to try this month, so what are you waiting for? Catch these new releases while they’re still up for grabs!
Crumbl
Don’t let Monday stress you again; instead, find ways to prepare yourself to face the week and whatever challenges it may bring. How? Well, Crumbl is once again bringing excitement to your week as they unveil their weekly dessert releases. If you’re up for a sweet treat, then choose among the following options (or get ‘em all):
- Tres Leches Cake – Missed them last week? Don’t worry, you’ll get them all month long. This cake features a fluffy vanilla cake base that is soaked in their tres leches sauce. It is topped with whipped cream and sprinkled with a layer of cinnamon.
- Confetti Cake – Craving for a birthday cake? Get its mini version from Crumbl this week. It features two tiers of cake batter confetti that are layered with smooth vanilla buttercream with vibrant rainbow sprinkles, just like in any other birthday cake that you can buy.
- Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunk Cookie – Here’s a classic cookie offering if you want them simple. It features chunky chocolate chips embedded in a batter base. There’s even a sprinkle of flaky sea salt for balance.
- Chocolate Crumb Cookie ft. OREO – A warm chocolate cookie base mixed with OREO cookie pieces. It is topped with vanilla cream cheese frosting and even more OREO cookie pieces.
- Banana Cream Pie Cookie – If you want something different, then this cookie is up for grabs. It’s a silky vanilla pudding that is layered with banana slices and vanilla wafers on top of a buttery baked pie crust.
- Chocolate REESE’S PIECES Cookie – A chocolate cookie base that is studded with REESE’S PIECES. Just imagine a chocolate chip cookie, but make the chips as colorful REESE’S PIECES.
- Lemon Cheesecake Cookie – A graham cookie base that is topped with creamy cheesecake frosting and a tart punch of lemon curd. There’s even a slice of fresh lemon placed on top of the cookie.

Cheba Hut
Nachos, anyone? There are new nachos in town to try, and they are from Cheba Hut. Introducing the Cool Ranch Doritos Not’chos, which is a piled-high snack with cheddar cheese, jalapeño, onion, black olive, hot sauce, and a drizzle of ranch on top of Cool Ranch Doritos. Cheba Hut calls this new release “cooler, ranchier, and next-level nachos” with its nostalgic snacking feel.
To keep the nostalgic vibes going, you can also order a Kool-Aid, which is always available on the menu. Make sure to grab this Cool Ranch Doritos Not’chos as they’re only available at Cheba Hut for a limited time.
Sonic
Sonic is surfing in the summer vibes with the return of their legendary slushes and the debut of a new snack that pairs well. This May 27, Sonic can once again sip on the brand’s refreshing Watermelon and Lemonberry Slushes together with the new Cheesy Garlic Pepperoni Bites for the ultimate summer lineup. But wait, that’s not all, as on May 19, they’re also offering a half-price deal on Sonic Shakes after 5 p.m. You can get them in any size and flavor to make Sonic the place to cool down after sundown.
The Watermelon and Lemonberry Slushes are finally returning for a limited time after they were last seen in 2019 and 2020. Their comeback is frequently requested on social media as they’re the ultimate way to beat the heat from the sun. Check out the flavor profiles of each fruity flavor:
- Watermelon Slush – A burst of juicy and sweet watermelon fruit that is blended into a classic Sonic Slush. Its price starts at just $2.79 for a medium.
- Lemonberry Slush – Features a Sonic Slush that is swirled with real strawberries and squeezed real lemon. With a starting price of $3.29, you can already get a medium-sized cup of fruity slush.
You can also get their new Cheesy Garlic Pepperon Bites to pair with your frozen refreshment. It features a combination of melty mozzarella and provolone cheeses. There’s also pepperoni, smothered in zesty pizza sauce and all wrapped in a crispy and golden brown shell. They’re available in orders of 3, 5, or 7 pieces starting at $2.99. They’re perfect as an on-the-go snack paired with your choice of Sonic drink.
If you’re not in the mood for slushies, then you might want to enjoy half-priced shakes every day after 5 p.m. with any size and flavor to choose from.

As a nostalgic person, I found love with Cheba Hut’s Cool Ranch Doritos Not’chos together with their Kool-Aid juice drink! I could just imagine the pop-out flavors from these two snackables. I also want to try Crumbl’s Banana Cream Pie Cookie, as someone who loves a good banana pudding. We’re just getting started for the summer!
