Another month means more new releases to look out for, especially with the holiday season just around the corner. This time, we’re looking at new seasonal fast food releases and exciting new collaborations to fill up our December. 👀
Whether the family is in the mood for pizza or chicken, Domino’s and Popeyes are here to serve you new deals. But if you are looking for the perfect midnight snack or a quick dinner, Taco Bell has a ton of new releases that you have yet to try. Some might even headline the start of your 2025.
We get it; the remaining days of December feel like a dread, especially since we’re in the middle of the memories from Thanksgiving’s long weekend and the upcoming Christmas and New Year festivities. But worry not, as these chains will serve you all of your food needs. This is a motivation to finish your work presentation that’s due this week to reward yourself with some good food. 😉
Domino’s
Gather up Squid Game fans as everyone’s favorite pizza joint, Domino’s has teamed up with Netflix for a one-of-a-kind game experience. Do you ever wonder how an Emergency Pizza can be a lifesaver in the intense world of Squid Game? Domino’s is here to show you how with the launch of their Squid Game: The Experience event as a promo for Netflix’s popular Squid Game series, and it’s held at the Manhattan Mall in New York City. Domino’s will offer a year’s supply of free Emergency Pizza to participants with the lowest scores. If you’re interested in joining the event, then read along.
Squid Game: The Experience is an immersive game inspired by the hit Netflix series, which will engage participants in five different challenges. The player who will receive the lowest score will be given a year’s supply of Emergency Pizza, presented by one of the Pink Guards. The prize comes in the form of $500 gift cards that are elegantly packaged in a custom Dalgona tin in Domino’s and Squid Game branding.

In case you don’t know what an Emergency Pizza is, it’s under Domino’s Emergency Pizza Program that gives guests a free medium, two-topping pizza at a time when they need it the most. What does this mean? Customers who complete an eligible purchase at Domino’s online will get a redeemable Emergency Pizza. In the event’s case, they will be giving the winners a year’s supply of Emergency Pizza! How exciting is that?
This actually marks the second collaboration between Domino’s and Netflix, as back in 2022, they collaborated to promote the fourth season of Stranger Things. If you missed your chance to join the collaboration, then you can join this season’s challenge instead.

Taco Bell
This year has been very good and exciting for Taco Bell fans! News here and there about new releases and comeback menu items have been rolling for quite some time now. Admit it; it’s been hard to keep track of all the new menu items that are coming soon or offered at select Taco Bell locations only. We’ve compiled all of the new food items that you might be looking for, so you might want to read along.

According to food blogger @Snackolator, there are four remaining items that are set for release yet that were announced during the Live Más LIVE event in February. One of them will be arriving this month, so you might want to be on the lookout for that. 👀
Mountain Dew Baja Blast Pie
If you’re one of those Taco Bell fans who’s been waiting for the Baja Blast desserts, you might recall the Baja Blast Pie was confirmed for a nationwide release a few months back. When it was first announced, many found them weird, but hey, don’t judge a food without first tasting it. 😅 Like any other pie, it is said to have a smooth texture and buttery curd with hints of lime flavor.
Churro Chiller Shakes
The Churro Chiller Shakes was a former test item at Texas and Chicago locations back in July, and we have yet to wait for its nationwide release. If you can recall, back in the Live Más LIVE event, it was said that they wanted these shakes at every Taco Bell store, but the problem is if they try to do them in ice cream machines or just blend them as they did during the test phase. Hopefully, Taco Bell resolves them soon enough so we can all sip on these Churro Chiller Shakes.
Here are the available flavors:
- Sweet Vanilla
- Mexican Chocolate
- Dulce de Leche
- Wild Strawberry
Dulce de Leche Cinnabon Delights
Moving on to the dessert department, Taco Bell also announced the release of Dulce de Leche Cinnabon Delights. Looking at the available photos, it seems like these are mini-fried donuts with Dulce de Leche filling. They’re actually a twist on the chain’s Cinnabon Delights.
Chicken Nuggets
Taco Bell is joining the fast food restaurant’s nugget war as they release their version of Chicken Nuggets. They were previously tested in Houston, Texas locations, and they are said to be rolling out this year. According to Taco Bell, the Chicken Nuggets are made with marinated chicken breast. The exciting part is that the marinade has Jalapeño buttermilk flavor, which would give a light spicy taste to the nuggets. Customers can choose to pair them with Jalapeño Honey Mustard or special Bell Sauce.

From The Club
That’s a whole lot of releases and deals lined up, and hopefully, most of the Taco Bell items will come out for a nationwide release this year. Yup, I’m looking at you, Baja Blast Pie and Chicken Nuggets! Thankfully, Domino’s and Popeyes have December offers for us to take while waiting. That Squid Game: The Experience event is too cool to miss out, and who knows, I might win a free Emergency Pizza.
