Big news: Hot new menu releases are coming right up at your favorite fast food places! 🤩

Here’s another round of new menu releases for you to check out. This time, it’s from Burger King, California Pizza Kitchen, and Fuzzy’s Taco Shop! If you’re craving a minty shake, Mediterranean-style dishes, or breakfast tacos (yup, we’re getting a little too specific), then head over for a drive and get them while they’re still shaking and cooking at these places. 

We’re inviting you to tag along and plan for your next meal, so make sure you list down the menu items that caught your eye.

Burger King

Missing December’s peppermint shake releases? You don’t have to wait for December again, as you’re still getting those peppermint shakes as early as January if you’re living around Florida. Yup, that’s right! Burger King is currently testing their Oreo Peppermint Cookie Shake at select locations in Florida. It features a vanilla ice cream base that is blended with peppermint and Oreo cookies.

Along with those pink and minty shakes, Burger King is also testing the Cini Minis, which are soft and buttery doughs that are rolled with cinnamon sugar. It also has a Vanilla Icing dip to make your Cini Minis experience even more sweeter. If you’ve been living off the 2016 nostalgia, then these sweet treats are perfect since they were also released in the same year. You better cross your fingers that they sell out really well in Florida so Burger King can release them once again nationwide!

California Pizza Kitchen

If you’ve had a meal at California Pizza Kitchen (CPK), you’ll know that this iconic restaurant brand serves bold and innovative flavors from a California point of view. With this, it may come as no surprise that they launch Mediterranean-inspired dishes that will bring out the flavor that CPK offers.

Here are the following dishes that boast Mediterranean flavors: 

• Salmon Baked in Parchment: Baked in their hearth oven, it features a North Atlantic salmon that is paired with broccolini, roasted tomatoes, Kalamata olives, capers, wild Greek oregano, and fresh garlic. The dish is drizzled with EVOO and topped with lemon, basil, and silvered scallions. 

• Mediterranean Pizza: What’s CPK without their hearty pizzas? Expect to get more of it as this pizza flavor is layered with grilled zucchini, slow-roasted tomatoes, red onions, Kalamata olives, Parmesan cheese, and EVOO. For a more flavorful finish, the pizza also features creamy Feta and wild Greek oregano, all drizzled with housemade Tzatziki. 

• Big Greek Salad: Care for a salad that is as flavorful as the previous pizza flavor? You’ll be getting those and more as this salad features slow-roasted cherries, cucumbers, Kalamata olives, red onions, green peppers, and fresh mint that are tossed with crisp romaine and some housemade lemon-herb vinaigrette. The salad is finished off with creamy Feta slices, some zesty pepperoncini, EVOO, and wild Greek oregano. 

You can get them for lunch or dinner today, as they were released just this week (January 21, 2025). 

Chef Paul Pszybylski, VP of Culinary Innovation at CPK, said that their guests are seeking “better for you” food options but not compromise on the flavor and variety of the food, which CPK is perfectly capable of. Pszybylski added that guests take on the restaurant’s Salmon Baked Parchment as an example of a “better for you” food option. They used a classic French cooking technique where everything was sealed and steamed to perfection. 

But that’s not all of the surprises that CPK offers, as one lucky customer would not only get to taste the Mediterranean flavors but also get to experience them firsthand. Dreading the days ahead? Cheer up as you’ll be celebrating fiesta in the mornings (and evenings) at Fuzzy’s Taco Shop with their limited-time breakfast meal offerings. Now, you don’t have to start every morning in a bad mood since Fuzzy’s new breakfast releases are now up for grabs. But if you’re not a huge breakfast person, don’t worry, as Fuzzy’s has got you covered even at nighttime!  

In case you don’t know, we’re celebrating National Hot Breakfast Month this February and Fuzzy’s Taco Shop is giving fans more ways to celebrate them with a breakfast meal that’s served all throughout the day. Check out the following new additions the next time that you’re wondering what to eat for breakfast:

• The Amigas Taco: This breakfast meal taco features scrambled eggs, pico de gallo, shredded cheese, tortilla strips, and freshly sliced avocados from Mexico which will bring out the authentic touch we need in our tacos. They’re all paired with a side of Árbol Chile Salsa. 

• Big Bacon & Chorizo Taco: If you prefer your usual home breakfast, then get this option instead. This taco features scrambled eggs, bacon, chorizo, shredded cheese, and pico de gallo that is wrapped in a warm tortilla with Fuzzy’s housemade flair in it.

• Sunrise M*m*sa: A frozen m*rg*ri*a mix with grenadine and mango puree with a hint of vanilla.

Since I’m craving for a sweet treat right now, I would love to have Burger King’s Cini Minis with its Vanilla Icing dip! Admittedly, it would be too sweet for me, but why not balance it all out with California Pizza Kitchen’s Mediterranean-inspired meals? I appreciate CPK for trying to make a difference by serving food options that are good for their customer’s health. Aside from that, I’d also like to applaud Fuzzy’s Taco Shop for serving their breakfast tacos all day long. It’s just perfect for people like me who aren’t much of a morning person.
