The fast food news is off to a crazy summer! It’s only the second week of June and we’re already getting a ton of fast food new releases from all our favorite fast food places!
With about 10 days away from the official start of the summer season, fast food restaurants are gearing up to give us a summer we won’t forget. We got a mix of both brand new items and returning fan favorites from some of the biggest brands in the industry. To start us off, there are FOUR big releases dropping on Monday, June 10th.

First up, we have the Triple Berry Frosty from Wendy’s. The renowned burger joint is adding a berry delicious twist to one of their oldest menu items in the Frosty. This has been rumored for months and there’s been a lot of hype online. We’ll finally get to taste for ourselves what this new flavor is all about and how it stacks up with previous limited-edition Frosty flavors.
Next up, we have two big new menu items from Chick-fil-A: the new Maple Pepper Bacon Sandwich and the returning Peach Milkshake. The Maple Pepper Bacon Sandwich is looking like it’s going to be a classic menu item. It looks absolutely delicious. It features a lemon-herb marinated grilled chicken fillet, maple-flavored brioche bun, green leaf lettuce, pepper Jack cheese, candied pepper bacon, and spicy bread & butter pickles. The Peach Milkshake, on the other hand, is already an established classic menu item that Chick-fil-A brings back every summer. It’s the perfect pairing to go with the new sandwich.
Last, but definitely not the least, is the Toffee Cake from Crumbl Cookies. Crumbl doesn’t usually release cakes but when they do, you bet it’s going to be BIG. As in, family-size big. The new Toffee Cake has a rich chocolate flavor, is soaked in caramel sauce, has a layer of whipped cream, and several pieces of toffee candy. In short, it’s the perfect summer dessert.
It’s safe to say that we’ll be getting more new releases in the coming weeks. So before we get overwhelmed with all the new food coming out, let’s all try them as soon as we can.

Best Fast Food Releases in 2024 So Far
Fast food is an ever changing industry. It moves at a pace just as fast as the food it serves. So, you need to do something different every now and then to make sure you stay relevant. Which is why we get tons of new fast food items released each year. This year though is a little special because there are lots of new items that are absolutely game changing. There’s plenty to mention here but we’d like to shine a light on two items in particular: IHOP’s Pancake of the Month and Taco Bell’s Cheez-It collaboration.
IHOP has been making lots of waves lately with their Pancake of the Month program. It’s a genius idea and a brilliant marketing tactic. It lets them be creative with their pancakes and they make sure that customers keep coming back to try new flavors. Some of the new flavors that stood out are the Cinnamon Apple Pecan and the Girl Scout Thin Mint. The new flavor out this month, Orange Creamsicle, is also looking pretty good.
Taco Bell’s Cheez-It collaboration has long been rumored and absolutely went viral when they announced it on their Live Más LIVE event. The Big Cheez-it Crunchwrap Supreme stole the show by featuring a massive Cheez-It cracker that’s 16 times larger than regular size. This, along with several new and returning items, broke the internet when Taco Bell confirmed that they’re all coming out in 2024.
Best Summer Menu Releases
Summer is only a few days away and we’ve got all the best summer menu for you to check out! Crumbl, Wendy’s, and Chick-fil-A aren’t the only chains releasing new stuff. There’s lots of releases coming out this season and you probably won’t have a hard time to find which ones will suit your tastes and preferences. But the ones getting most of the hype are Starbucks and McDonald’s.
Starbucks’ summer menu is pretty much tradition. Every year, we speculate which ones will come out and which ones will return. It wasn’t the same this year but when they announced what they got, everyone went crazy. Their 2024 summer menu has lots of things going for it especially their Summer Berry lineup.
McDonald’s isn’t one to back down when it comes to summer menu items. They have two pretty sweet items coming out this season. The Smoky BLT Quarter Pounder with Cheese and the KitKat Banana Split McFlurry. Both of these are looking to be classic McDonald’s menu items and we’re pretty sure they’ll get their own devoted fanbase once they’re taken off the menu.

We’re feasting this summer! There’s lots of new releases and it’s looking like it’s gonna be starting this week. There’s Wendy’s new Frosty Berry. There’s the Maple Pepper Bacon Sandwich and the Peach Milkshake from Chick-fil-A. But the one I’m most excited for is Crumbl‘s new Toffee Cake. It’s been a while since I’ve had cake in general and with a friend’s birthday coming up, this looks like the perfect opportunity to try Crumbl’s latest creation. Which one are you excited about?
