July is near, and so are the 4th of July treats that go with it!
Let’s give it up for Krispy Kreme for being one of the early chains to introduce their 4th of July specials. Introducing the Stars, Stripes, & Sweetness Collection that’s available beginning today for a limited time at participating Krispy Kreme shops across the US.
Let’s take a peek at what they’re offering this year:
- Freedom Ring Doughnut – This treat features an Original Glazed doughnut base dipped in white icing. The doughnut also features decorations of blue sprinkles and white stars that are piped with red icing stripes.
- USA Party Doughnut – Nope, this is not a Miley Cyrus song. This treat starts with an Original Glazed base piped with white buttercreme and sprinkled with USA party sprinkle blend. The treat is then topped with a USA sugar piece for a final touch.
- Vanilla Cookies & Kreme Liberty Crunch Doughnut – Features an unglazed shell doughnut base that is filled with vanilla cookies & Kreme filling, you can taste in every bite. For decorations, the doughnut is dipped in white icing and topped with vanilla cookies, patriotic sprinkles, plus a drizzle finish of white icing.
David Skena, Krispy Kreme’s Chief Growth Officer, said that the Stars, Stripes, & Sweetness Collection is perfect for parades, parties, pools, or basically any 4th of July celebration you can think of. This collection is the perfect addition to your spread to sweeten your celebration and make your holiday a blast!
But that’s not all. To celebrate the special holiday for many of us further, Krispy Kreme is offering a free Original Glazed doughnut on July 4. If you want to score this sweet treat, then we’re telling you what to do: simply wear red, white, or blue to participate. Note that there’s a limit of one doughnut per customer.
Krispy Kreme’s Stars, Stripes, & Sweetness Collection is now available in shops and for pickup or delivery via the brand’s official app and website. We’ve known how the brand consistently brings new collections and deals almost every month. Expect a new Krispy Kreme collection drop every holiday! While we’re still in the first half of the year, the brand has already unveiled tons of collections in the past few months. Let’s revisit some of the notable ones and cross our fingers that they release these collections again by next year.
Father’s Day Collection
- Bow Tie & Suspenders Doughnut – Features an Original Glazed doughnut with chocolate icing plus green and blue vanilla icing drizzle toppers.

- Strawberry Power Berry Doughnut – Features an unglazed shell base filled with strawberry KREME. It is dipped in red icing and topped with white sprinkles and green leaf icing.

- Bunny Basket Doughnut – An Original Glazed doughnut with chocolate icing and buttercreme decors. It is topped with a confectionery bunny.
- Marshmallow Bunny Doughnut – An unglazed shell doughnut filled with marshmallow flavored KREME. It is sipped in yellow icing with a decoration of a bunny face and ears.

- Candy Double Feature Doughnut – An Original Glazed doughnut base with white icing. The doughnut is topped with milk chocolate candy pieces, mini chocolate chips, and chocolate icing drizzle for the decors.
A Sweet Treat Comeback From Cicis Pizza
Ever had a sweet treat during your childhood that no one remembers? You swore that you ate those treats back then, but you can’t recall the brand. Well, we’re giving you a lucky guess. Maybe it’s from Cicis Pizza? And the treat might be the Original Chocolate Dessert! 🤤Well, here’s some great news for nostalgia seekers: Cicis Pizza is bringing the dessert back for their 40th birthday.
Head over to your nearest Cicis starting today until August 17. Their all-you-can-eat buffet will now be carrying the Original Chocolate Dessert. You can also get them online for $7.99. Now, why is this dessert a beloved menu item? According to the brand, it’s an ooey-gooey classic made from deep-dish dough, cocoa sugar, chocolate, and a dusting of powdered sugar, sliced into rectangular pieces.

The flavor that really caught my eye (and perhaps my tastebuds) would be the Vanilla Cookies & Kreme Liberty Crunch Doughnut! Cookies and cream is my go-to ice cream flavor, and I’d love to taste it in a doughnut.
