6. The Pink House, Genoa, NV
You cannot miss it, and that is kind of the point. A pink Victorian in the tiny town of Genoa houses a relaxed, dog-friendly restaurant that leans into cheese in a big way.
The menu covers steaks, seafood, pizza, pasta, burgers, sandwiches, and salads. But the cheese-forward dishes stand out, from the Cheese Sampler to the Cheesemonger’s Grilled Cheese and Mac and Cheese the Cheese Shop Way.

Beyond the ranch-country proteins, the plates feel upscale and carefully presented. Lamb and risotto turn up among the specialties, all served in a warm, intimate space.
