The Origins of Sam’s Club and Minions
Sam’s Club, a division of Walmart Inc., has a pretty long history before it became one of the go to membership retail stores today. It all began with Sam Walton in 1983 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Walton wanted to give small business owners with access to affordable sources of merchandise. He wanted to give these small businesses a way to buy bulk products but at a significantly lower price. This innovative concept turned into Sam’s Club. It didn’t take long for it to be incredibly popular, raking in lots of members over the years. Since then, they’ve expanded to include everything you could possibly want from electronics to groceries.

On the other hand, the Minions fruit snacks come straight out of the world of Minions, the small, yellow, quirky characters from the “Despicable Me” film series produced by Illumination Entertainment. Since their debut in 2010, Minions have captured the hearts of audiences worldwide. They quickly became pop culture icons, appearing in a variety of merchandise that includes plush toys, clothing, and, of course, fruit snacks.
Combining these two popular brands, Sam’s Club now offers Minions fruit snacks, a perfect blend of a trusted retailer and a beloved character franchise. This combination creates a unique and appealing product for both kids and adults.

Exciting News From Sam’s Club and Minions in Recent Years
Over the past two years, Sam’s Club has consistently made headlines with its variety of exclusive products and interesting promotions. In 2021, Sam’s Club launched a series of limited-time holiday treats and meal kits that became incredibly popular. They also rolled out an upgraded Scan & Go shopping app, which garnered positive reviews for enhancing the shopping experience.
Minions, on the other hand, made a significant splash in 2020 when Universal Pictures announced “Minions: The Rise of Gru,” scheduled for release in theaters. Although delayed due to the pandemic, this announcement sparked a flurry of new Minions-themed products, including our favorite fruit snacks.

These fruit snacks are particularly noteworthy because they capture the playful spirit of the Minions while offering a practical snack solution. They became a go-to option for many parents looking for fun yet convenient snacks for their kids.
A Minion-Sized Snack Attack: The Appeal of the 90-Pouch Box
Imagine this: You’re packing lunches for school, prepping snacks for a soccer game, or simply want to have a treat readily available at home. Sam’s Club’s 90-pouch box of Minions fruit snacks comes to the rescue! Each pouch is individually packaged, ensuring freshness and making it super easy to grab and go. No more messy spills or struggling with large containers.
The Minions packaging adds an element of fun to snack time. Kids (and let’s be honest, adults too) love the bright colors and silly faces of these characters. It makes the experience more enjoyable and can even encourage picky eaters to try new things.
While fruit snacks should be enjoyed in moderation as part of a balanced diet, they can be a convenient choice for busy families. Plus, who can resist a little bit of Minion mischief in their snack routine?
From The Club
I’m not exactly a fan of Minions. I think they’re a little too overused and have been everywhere (and I mean everywhere) since they first popped up. While sure, they can be annoying at times, they still have their charms. And fruit snacks are always pretty great so. If you’re not really bothered by the packaging and just looking for something fruity to snack on, this is definitely a great buy.
