Like any other fast-food restaurant, Popeyes has ventured into serving more than just chicken. Now, you can enjoy their sweet treats after a heavy meal.
This August is about to get sweeter as Popeyes drops an early dessert surprise! Say hello to Popeye’s new dessert offerings, the new Chocolate Chip Biscuits and Apple Caramel Cheesecake.
Following the success of the limited-edition Strawberry Biscuit, which was released last year, Popeyes is introducing the Chocolate Chip Biscuit, which is a mix of both the classics of chocolate chip cookies and Popeyes’ Buttermilk Biscuit. The buttery biscuits are studded with chocolate chips and topped with a drizzle of icing.
The Apple Caramel Cheesecake, on the other hand, is a dessert that welcomes the nearing fall season. It has a cream cheesecake base with a swirl of apple caramel filling and is baked on top of a crust made with graham.
Tempted to taste these desserts already? Get ready because they are about to hit participating Popeyes’ stores nationwide from August 5 for a limited time only.

Popeyes is on the roll for new food deals this summer season. First off, for National Best Friend’s Day last June 8, they partnered up with Grubhub to give away free fried chicken sandwiches. As part of Grubhub’s customer appreciation month called “Bites with Your Besties” week, every $20 worth of food will be equivalent to a free chicken sandwich. Sadly, the promo closed, so keep an eye out for amazing deals to enjoy these last few days of summer.
In case you missed it, Popeyes offered a much bigger box than their original Big Box last month. It features your choice of either ten pieces of crispy chicken or chicken tenders with four pieces of Buttermilk Biscuits, all for an unbeatable price of $20! We hope Popeyes brings this super saver meal box as it was only available until June 23, 2024.

BBQ and chicken? That sounds like the perfect combination! Popeyes recently added a smokey touch to their chicken burger by adding BBQ sauce and smoked bacon. Isn’t this a match made in heaven? Starting at $4.99, you can get any of these Golden BBQ Sandwich:
- Crispy Golden BBQ Chicken Sandwich – A buttermilk-battered all-white chicken meat smothered in BBQ Honey Mustard Sauce and sandwiched on a brioche bun. It is served with barrel cure pickles on the side.

I crave a lot of Popeyes chicken, I don’t know if it’s from the crispy chicken skin or the juicy white meat. I think the release of these desserts is timely as I always want something sweet after eating their fried chicken. I’ve never really considered ordering any desserts from them because they lack in dessert variation. But now that Popeyes has unveiled their new dessert treats, I might just take a bite of the Apple Caramel Cheesecake. Oh, and save me a piece of that Chocolate Chip Biscuit.
