Calling all teachers, there is a deal exclusively for you this back-to-school season!
Students and their parents have benefited from different back-to-school deals, but how could we forget about our educators? If you’re a teacher, Sonic has got you covered on amazing deals and free items for you to enjoy.
As students enjoy the last few days of break, teachers are already up and running, preparing their teaching guides and classrooms to welcome students to a new school year. SONIC Drive-In recognizes teachers’ efforts to create a great learning environment, so they will open exclusive rewards for educators enrolled in the Sonic Teachers’ Circle rewards program. It will be opened for faculty and staff under K-12 schools or degree-granting universities.

Starting August 19 to September 1, 2024, SONIC Teachers’ Circle members can redeem the following deals:
- A free Sonic Cheeseburger with any purchase
- A free large drink or Slush with any purchase
- $1.29 Medium Onion Rings
If you’re a teacher who’s not signed up for SONIC Teachers’ Circle, now is the time to do so, as you will need to sign up before August 19 to get all of these amazing deals loaded in your account. Each reward is valid for one-time use only with purchases made online or through the SONIC app. The deals aren’t valid for use in combos, delivery, and other offers.
Aside from the deal for teachers, SONIC will also serve the community this back-to-school season through the Limeaids for Learning initiative. Celebrating their 15th-year mark, Sonic has continuously supported the local education scene by donating a portion of their profits from drinks, shakes, SONIC Blast, or Slush. Since 2019, Sonic has donated over $27 million to fund local classrooms, becoming one of the largest programs supporting public schools across the US.

Let’s Talk About Teachers’ Circle Rewards Program
Teachers need a little treat, too, after dealing with countless classroom noises and a whole day of talking. That is why SONIC introduced their rewards program for teachers, where they can enjoy special deals and free rewards. This time, Sonic offers a free SONIC Cheeseburger or large drink/slush and a price down on their Medium Onion Rings for siders.
Back in April, when we celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week, Sonic offered free and BOGO deals for teachers with food items such as SONIC Blast, SONIC Cheeseburger, Beverages, and entreés.
Now that you’re convinced to join the extra reward points, you just need to head over to the app and click your profile icon. Tap “account” and select “I’m a teacher,” then fill out the necessary information needed about yourself. The program is available to educators in K-12 schools and colleges/universities around the country. When you complete the verifications, you immediately get access to the Teachers’ Circle and receive exclusive access to deals meant for teachers.

For extra taste and crunch, crinkle-cut pickles and diced onion are added to the potato bun.

From The Club
It’s rare for fast food restaurants to serve teachers this Back to School season as everyone is focused on the students. It’s a good thing that SONIC was reminded of teachers, as they deserve a little appreciation, too. I’m sure that SONIC has put a smile on the faces of teachers across the country. After all, teaching young people is a tough job and a delicious treat might just save the day.
