Move over, Chicken Sandwich Wars. This summer, we’ve got “Value Meal Wars!
If you think you’ve seen all of fast food chain’s value meal deals, think again! The fast food industry is not yet finished with its wave of value meals, and this time, we may be seeing an era of expanded value deals! Let’s start off with KFC and their move to widen their current Taste of KFC Deals.
KFC is enhancing its $5 Value Menu to give customers more meal choices while delivering satisfying value. Starting today, August 12, 2024, the Taste of KFC menu now features three new $5 deals, to ensure that all customers can enjoy a delicious meal for an affordable price:
- KFC Chicken Nuggets: Enjoy eight hand-breaded chicken nuggets made with KFC’s Original Recipe, alongside Secret Recipe Fries and your choice of two dipping sauces.
- Famous Bowl with KFC Chicken Nuggets: Your classic Famous Bowl that’s made fresh-to-order consists of creamy mashed potatoes topped with sweet corn, KFC’s 100% white meat chicken nuggets, and home-style gravy, all finished with a three-cheese blend.
- Two-Piece Drum & Thigh: Enjoy two pieces of crispy drum and thigh fried chicken, coupled with creamy mashed potatoes topped with gravy and a buttery biscuit.
Nick Chavez, CMO of KFC U.S., noted that with customers seeking more value, KFC is proud to expand its offerings with their fan favorite items like nuggets and Famous Bowls, each priced at just $5.
KFC also continues to serve value with their “$10 Tuesdays” deal – with this option, customers or families can get a bucket with eight pieces of fried chicken for only ten dollars. The “$20 Family Deal” is also a perfect option for big groups, with six pieces of chicken, four single sides and four biscuits.
But that’s not all! KFC also launched delicious digital-exclusive deals and here are some of the deals that you can enjoy:
- 40-Piece Saucy Nuggets Party Pack: Get a pack of 40-piece nuggets with optional four flavors like Honey Garlic, Chipotle Ranch, Mango Habanero, and the comeback of fan favorites like Korean BBQ and Honey BBQ. You can get it for only $19.99.
- Sandwich + Nuggets Meal for Two: For only $15, customers can get two sandwiches, a 10-piece serving of chicken nuggets, two servings of sides, and two medium drinks.
- Five-Piece Chicken on the Bone Meal for Two: Customers can get five pieces of chicken, two sides, two drinks, and two biscuitsᅳfor only $15.
To top it off, customers can also receive a 50% discount on KFC Chicken Sandwiches when ordered online through the KFC website or app. However, guests should note that prices and availability may vary by location.
