Hostess, known for their delicious snack cakes, seems to be working extra hard these days. Now and then, they come out with something special, like a bigger box of Twinkies for a holiday like Valentine’s Day, which was pretty smart.
After introducing their Meltamors, similar to lava cakes, now they’ve put a new snack on store shelves. They call it the ZingerDingers.
The ZingerDingers are like a mix of Raspberry Zingers and Ding Dongs. But instead of half and half, the ZingerDingers have the raspberry and coconut topping from Zingers on the outside, and, instead of chocolate, they are vanilla cakes like Twinkies. Inside, there’s a creamy filling, and the whole thing is topped with raspberry-coconut icing. These treats are special items that you can only buy at Walmart, and you can find them in packs of two or 10, in stores nationwide.

It looks like the Hostess team that comes up with new ideas is doing great because they’ve been making lots of new snacks. And we’re excited to see what they will think of next. In addition, Hostess isn’t the only brand making interesting new snack foods. Exciting new items from other brands like Reese’s, Entenmann’s, and Cinnabon are hitting the shelves, and McDonald’s is even updating its menu with new desserts like a chocolatey pretzel McFlurry. Keep an eye out for all these treats in stores!
