What’s New and Coming at McDonald’s?
With the recently concluded $0.50 Double Cheeseburger deal, McDonald’s has yet to serve fans another deal with an awesome menu item. Here’s what’s new and coming menu items from their chain:
- McCrispy Snack Wraps – Coming this 2025 are the popular Snack Wraps, which was announced earlier as coming soon by the chain. They’re made from a warm tortilla that is stuffed with chicken meat, shredded lettuce, and cheddar cheese.
- Chicken Strips – This food item is part of the Golden Arches’ highly-anticipated food item, as they were earlier served as part of the menu decades ago. McDonald’s is supposedly using the Chicken Strips to create the Snack Wraps, but it’s still unclear. As for its release, they’re also coming by 2025.
- McRib – Last December 3, the fan-favorite McRib came back to McDonald’s for a limited time. It’s a seasoned boneless pork that is dipped in BBQ sauce and topped with onions and pickles. It is served on a toasted bun. Aside from this, McDonald’s also introduced the new A Whole Lotta McRib Sauce, which is a half-a-gallon jug filled with McRib’s iconic sauce.
- McCafé’s Dulce de Leche Frappé – Together with rising Mexican actor Iñaki Godoy, who is best known for his role in Netflix’s live-action ONE PIECE, McDonald’s released the Dulce de Leche flavored frappé that is available for a limited time only.

While these treats may excite us, there are also deals that are making their way to 2025. The holiday season may be over, but at least we get cheaper menu options with their McValue menu. Starting January 7, 2025, fans can expect the value menu to drop at participating locations nationwide.
First up, we have the Buy One, Add One for $1, where McDonald’s allows customers to customize their own deals by mixing and matching their favorite menu items. Customers may purchase one regular-priced menu item from the McValue menu and add one more, which would cost them only $1.
The McValue Breakfast includes the following:
- Sausage McMuffin
- Sausage Biscuits
- Sausage Burrito
- Hash Browns
The McValue Lunch/Dinner items include:
- 6 pc. Chicken McNuggets
- Double Cheeseburger
- McChicken
- Small Fries
Aside from these, McDonald’s is also extending the $5 Meal Deal until next summer of 2025 since the promo becomes a part of the McValue platform. This meal deal consists of your choice of McDouble and McChicken Sandwich, Small Fries, 4-piece Chicken McNuggets, and a small soft drink, all for just $5.

I might probably be the biggest Chicken McNuggets fan. Well, to be fair, any other McNugget fan might claim the same. 🤣 I guess the $1 Chicken McNuggets is a great deal, but to be honest, I’m not sure if I can snag one given the high demand of customers. I’ll be lucky when I get on,e but if not, I guess I’ll just wait for the 2025 McDonald’s deals coming this January 7, 2025, or better yet, stack up on my points to get a free meal.
