I have so much to say about this clip that went viral last week.. Just wait for the comments. But first.. Let’s talk about Pumpkin Spice because it’s Pumpkin Spice Season, and there’s a great lineup of new releases, along with my top 5 Pumpkin Spice items this year and the new Spongebob rumor from Wendy’s.
There’s also some new fast food menu items from Chipotle, McDonald’s, Dairy Queen, and Dunkin, which I think you should take notes about.
Lastly, I tried the new Chick-fil-A Spicy Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich and the Banana Pudding Milkshake.

New Pumpkin Spice Menu Items
Let’s go through my top five pumpkin spice items this year. If you want to see the full list of pumpkin spice food, dessert, drinks, and treats, here’s a look at our full list.
5. IHOP Pumpkin Spice Pancakes
First off the bat, IHOP comes with their Pumpkin Spice Pancakes. Last year I made an IHOP McGriddle with sausage and eggs and it was out of this world. I highly recommend you try my recipe and you won’t regret it. Now, seeing that IHOP mixes pumpkin spice into their pancakes feels just right. Fall season is all about cozy and comforting flavors and nothing’s more cozier than a Pumpkin Spice Pancake.
IHOP’s Pumpkin Spice Pancakes are made with real pumpkin and seasonal spices, and of course, they’re topped with the signature creamy whipped topping. To get the whole fall morning package, I’d recommend getting this as a combo -adding two bacon strips or two pork sausage links, two eggs cooked your way, and hash browns.
4. McDonald’s New Pumpkin Spice
The Pumpkin Spice battle is not complete without McDonald’s fall menu lineup. This fall, McDonald’s will reintroduce their fall favorites, the classics Pumpkin Spice Latte, Pumpkin Spice Iced Coffee, and Pumpkin and Crème Pie. It may sound underwhelming for a fast food giant but hold up until you know how Pumpkin Spice-y each one is.
McDonald’s Pumpkin Spice Latte and Pumpkin Spice Iced Coffee both mixes fall flavors of pumpkin and cinnamon, with the signature creamy blend of whole milk and espresso. To top it off, McDonald’s is welcoming their Pumpkin and Crème Pie back this year, this fills McDonald’s famous hot pie with spiced pumpkin filling.
3. Krispy Kreme New Donut
One of Fall’s early birds, Krispy Kreme, unveiled their “The Essential Pumpkin Spice Collection”, to join the fold of fast food chains jumping on the Pumpkin Spice releases. Featuring returning seasonal favorites, Krispy Kreme’s main lineup includes their very own pumpkin spice coffee and a pumpkin spice-flavored doughnut.
Krispy Kreme came prepared with a strong lineup of Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte, Frozen Pumpkin Spice Latte, Hot Pumpkin Spice Latte, and Pumpkin Spice Cake Doughnut. This lineup has graced Krispy Kreme locations since early days of August and if you’re looking for fall-flavored menu that’s worth the buck, you might want to visit Krispy Kreme.
2. Tim Hortons Pumpkin Spicy Mega Menu
Even before August came to an end, Tim Hortons had already dropped their Fall menu roster, officially joining the lineup of coffee brands like Starbucks, Dunkin’, and Krispy Kreme, and their fall-flavored menu lineups.
Tim Hortons is going all in with a massive pumpkin spice menu; they released SEVEN new fall items, but what I can’t wait to try is the Maple Waffle Breakfast Sandwich with either bacon or sausage. Other fall favorites within Tim Hortons’ roster are Caramel Apple Latte, Chai Latte, Pumpkin Spice Iced Capp, Pumpkin Spice Latte, Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew with Cold Foam, Maple Cinnamon Sugar Cold Brew, Pumpkin Spice Donut, and Pumpkin Spice Muffin. Have you picked a favorite yet?
1. Starbucks Takes the Top Spot
Of course, the top spot belongs to the OG Pumpkin Spice trendsetter, Starbucks with their Pumpkin Spice Latte with Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin! Take a look at these menu items and I think you’ll agree, although I was hoping for a non-dairy pumpkin spice this year, or some pumpkin breakfast sandwich.
- Pumpkin Spice Latte (Hot, Iced, or Frappucino)
- Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew
- Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso
- Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato
Starbucks’ Fall Pastries include the following:
- Raccoon Cake Pop
- Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin
- Baked Apple Croissant
- Pumpkin Loaf
New SpongeBob Collaboration Rumor
Krabby Patty is coming to life! It may sound like a hoax, but it’s not. The most famous fictional food is in collaboration with none other than Wendy’s. To celebrate 25 years of the SpongeBob Squarepant’s show, they are releasing a Krabby Patty Meal which includes a Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty and hot and crispy fries.
Starting October 8, 2024, Wendy’s Krabby Patty and Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty will be available as a meal for adult customers and fans in the United States, Canada, and Guam. You bet I can’t wait until then!
New Fast Food Releases
McDonald’s
McDonald’s has the Big Arch burger in Canada, and in the US, we are getting the Chicken Big Mac, and their fall menu: Pumpkin & Cream pie, Pumpkin Spice Latte, and Ice Pumpkin Spice coffee.
This is one of the rare cases we’d one-upped McDonald’s Canada. They’ve been releasing good stuff for summer and now, USA stepped up for the fall season. We’ll update you further when we get our hands on juicier Chicken Big Mac updates.
Dairy Queen
Dairy Queen brought back their delicious Pumpkin Pie Blizzard! It has Pumpkin Pie pieces with whipped cream and nutmeg. Just by its ingredients, you’d surely know it’s amazing and you bet I highly recommend it.
They also have a French Silk Pie Blizzard making a return, Oreo Fudge Brownie Blizzard, and a Caramel Java Chip Blizzard. If you’re into fall flavored ice cream, Dairy Queen is the perfect place to be.
Dunkin
Make way as Dunkin‘ enters the Pumpkin Spice chat. The coffee and donut giant have released their Fall Menu featuring loaded hash browns, a pumpkin donut, muffin, and munchkins to welcome fall. They are also releasing an Apple Cider Donut and Maple Sugar Seasoned Bacon for their breakfast sandwiches.
Lastly, you might want to mark your calendars for October 16th, as Dunkin’ will soon launch their Halloween menu offerings. Something wicked will soon come!
Chipotle
Chipotle begs to differ this fall season with their newest Honey Chicken offering; it’s marinated with seared and smoked adobo chipotle peppers with a season of Mexican spices, creating a sweet and spicy blend.
You bet you’re in for the ride, this new baddie carries the chipotle pepper and a hint of sweetness from Chipotle’s pure honey seasoning. I can’t wait to try this hot one!
RELATED: I’ve Tried the New Chick-fil-A Summer Menu [FOOD REVIEW]
Food Review
Chick-fil-A’s
Lets jump into my review of Chick-fil-A’s new menu items. I got myself the Honey Pimiento Chicken Sandwich, the Banana Pudding, their Iced Coffee milkshake, and gave myself a healthy boost with the Kale Crunch Salad instead of the french fries.
Iced Coffee Milkshake

First off the bat, the Iced Coffee Milkshake tastes closely to Arby’s Jamocha Shake, so no points for that one, Chick-fil-A. If you’re looking for a caffeine boost, a little sweet on one side and not so-heavy milkshake, I’d recommend you go for the Iced Coffee Milkshake than the Banana Pudding.
Honey Pimiento Chicken Sandwich

Let’s bite into the main thing. I tried the Spicy Honey Pimiento Chicken Sandwich, as I had the original last year so I’m opting for some variety. And man, it didn’t disappoint. If you’re looking for some heat, Chick-fil-A’s Spicy Honey Pimiento Chicken Sandwich checks all the boxes. Chick-fil-A got the right balance of the spiciness and sweetness, making this a lot better than what I had last year.
But just to be transparent, I’d say the bun didn’t really stand out. It’s just a plain bun. The pickles and jalapenos could’ve also added more taste, if you’d ask me. Overall, I’m really impressed and I’d highly recommend you get Chick-fil-A’s Spicy Honey Pimiento Chicken Sandwich.

Banana Pudding

First off, Chick-fil-A’s Banana Pudding has whipped cream on top which doesn’t really hold the cherry. This shake tiny chunks of wafers and carries the freshness of bananas, which Chick-fil-A is known to do, putting chunks of ingredients in their milkshakes. If you’re a milkshake lover, you’ll appreciate this good new option from Chick-fil-A.

Great job, Chick-fil-A! Keep them delicious new lineups coming!
