Rita’s
Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard is launching into the New Year by bringing new flavors to the table. The largest Italian ice brand in the world is bringing fans raspberry madness with the launch of its first new flavor of the year to kick off 2025: Raspberries N’ Cream Cream Ice. This new flavor of tang and juicy raspberries pairs perfectly with Rita’s signature smooth and creamy Italian ice. What’s special about this, you ask? Well, it creates a treat that is both bright and refreshing, just like how your 2025 should be.

Guests can now grab this treat at open Rita’s location starting today, January 13, 2025. But you have to get them as soon as you spot them since they won’t freeze forever at Rita’s location near you.
Now for a little flavor profile on why it should rock the start of your year. There are many reasons to celebrate raspberries in this new Rita’s offering. Since the brand is thrilled to release the Raspberries N’ Cream Gelati, it strikes the perfect balance of both tangy and sweet by layering Rita’s signature Vanilla Frozen Custard with the Raspberries N’ Cream Cream Ice. But for those of you who are more of a Rita’s drink fan, you can order the Raspberries N’ Cream Gelati Blender, which features the fruity richness of raspberries with the cream coming from the custard to create a sippable treat.
Madalyn Weintraub, Senior Director of Marketing at Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard, said that the brand’s new Raspberries N’ Cream lineup marks the beginning of an exciting year ahead for Rita’s. They want to kick off by showing their commitment to innovation by coming up with fresh and vibrant flavors. Weintraub also mentioned that there are more surprises to come. Who knows? It might be another new flavor lineup, a freebie, or an exciting deal. Just stay in touch by following Rita’s official social media pages.
In the meantime, you can download Rita’s Ice app to start your year right and claim all the rewards that you can possibly get. You can start earning rewards for your purchases, and if you’re a new member, you can get a small free ice if you sign up this January. Look for the app on Apple and Google Play stores or visit ritasice.com/app/.
Wendy’s
Sure, Wendy’s released some Frosty flavors last 2024, like the Triple Berry, Vanilla, and Salted Caramel, but don’t you wish they came up with something new? This 2025, your wish is Wendy’s command as they’re coming up with a new flavor that will remind you of the childhood nostalgia from Girl Scouts sweet treats. Can you guess the flavor?
That’s right, Wendy’s is bringing Thin Mints to their Frosty as their first surprise for fans this 2025! Expect the Thin Mints Frosty to drop this February, just in time for the Valentine’s celebration. There’s no official news from Wendy’s yet, but food blogger @Snackolator is speculating about this exciting treat.
First up, it could be in a Chocolate Mint Frosty with Chocolate or Chocolate Mint Swirl. The second speculation is Chocolate or Vanilla Frosty with a Chocolate Mint Swirl. Take this information with a grain of salt, as this is just, again, a speculation from @Snackolator. How exciting would it be if the speculations were true? 👀
To picture the Thin Mints Frosty, here’s a bit of @Snackolator’s mock-up from an image that the Team Supernova (the first to get the Thin Mints Frosty info) got.

From The Club
Out of all the three releases, I’m excited to try Handel’s new coffee-flavored ice cream as someone who enjoys coffee crumble mixed with some Oreos. It’s also been a while since I had my last Rita’s, so the Raspberries N’ Cream Cream Ice is the perfect excuse to swing by one of these days. I’m sure many of you are excited about the Thin Mints Frosty from Wendy’s since a lot of you were fans of this specific Girl Scouts treat. To be honest, I’m not much of a mint flavor fan, especially when they’re mixed with chocolate. I guess I could have a spoon of two or three, but that’s just that. 😅
